Whoever didn’t believe in the Tzaddik HaEmet died in Egypt

Paraphrased comments from R Almaliach’s shiur from Sunday morning

(I wanted to link to the video for this, but now I can’t seem to find it on his Youtube page… My husband downloaded the audio of it on a stick. I am trying to upload that to the blog, but it’s also now not working….)

These are very truncated, and just bringing the ‘flavor’ of what he said, also in the name of Rav Berland.

==

On Saturday night, before the ‘rockets’ or whatever they were, the Rav said very clearly from the mirpeset that we don’t need to be scared of the Iranians, it’s just all sleight-of-hand.

The Rav also stressed that the main ‘danger’ to Am Yisrael is that they are trying to take yeshiva bochurs to the army.

He talked about how Rebbe Nachman ‘sweetened’ the decree of the forced conscription to the Russian army[1] in his time, and pushed it off for 25 years. Rabbenu said then that if he had had 30 tzaddikim with him, he could have cancelled the decrees entirely.

But he didn’t.

==

So to in our time, this is the terrible decree that needs to be ‘cancelled’, and everyone who comes to pray with the Tzaddik HaEmet of our generation – Rav Eliezer Berland – is helping to cancel this decree, and all the other decrees it’s bringing with it, on the Am.

Every single person who goes to the army falls away from their yiddishkeit.

Either entirely, and they become chiloni, or at the very least, all the humrot, Torah learning and other things they take upon themselves beforehand falls by the way side ‘in the army’.

==

[The next bit isn’t so clear to me, but I think R Elmaliach is quoting the Rav as saying that there is nowhere to ‘run away’ to, and going abroad is not going to help anyone, and we see very well how this army is ‘looking after the Jewish people’, after the last six months of tens of thousands of refugees from the North and all the rest.]

==

The Rav is calling for one or perhaps two massive atzerot (prayer gatherings) by the Kotel and / or in Hevron, to pray that this decree of taking yeshiva bochurs to the army to be totally nullified – otherwise, it seems there are going to be some more massive dinim on Am Yisrael, lo alenu.

[Ed. note: I have been asking around, but it looks like R Elmaliach is the only one trying to organise these gatherings. Something did happen at Kever Rachel and Hevron a few days ago, but it wasn’t widely publicised and I only just found about it now.]

==

The Rav then also then wrote a letter motzash for R Elmaliach to share (before the ‘rockets from Iran’, or whatever that was arrived circa 2am).

In that letter, Rav Berland was talking about leil haseder.

==

*Again, this is all paraphrased, not directly translated. If I am misrepresenting what was said, please let me know in the comments.*

The basic idea is that whoever didn’t believe in the Tzaddik HaEmet didn’t get out of Egypt alive.

And that the reason Moshe Rabbenu was arguing with God in the desert for a week that he didn’t want to be sent as the nation’s redeemer is because he knew they wouldn’t believe him.

And then, 4/5 of them would die in the plague of darkness.

And Moshe Rabbenu didn’t want that to happen.

==

The test is coming around again, this Leil haSeder, when there is going to be a ‘great light’.

(I don’t know if this is meant to be metaphorical or physical.)

The main test is to believe in the Tzaddik HaEmet – Rav Eliezer Berland – and to get on board and have real emunat tzaddikim.

But at the very, very least, to make sure you are not in the camp of being a ba’al machloket against the Rav – who is [hezkat] the Moshiach, because anyone who doesn’t have real emunat tzaddikim, and who talks badly against the Rav is not going to make it through this geula process.

==

R Elmaliach says people need to go and do an hour of hitbodedut to check where they are really holding with their emunat tzaddikim, and with their belief that Rav Berland is Moshiach ben David [of our generation].

But again he stresses that the most important thing is to not speak badly about the Rav, or buy into the lies put around by the ‘agents of Pharoah’ in our days, who want to keep the Jewish people enslaved under them forever.

==

And also, to join in the prayer gatherings to cancel the decree of the forced conscription of the yeshiva bochurs.

==

Ad kan.

Let me just add that the forced conscription of Jewish boys back in Tzarist Russia 200 years ago was something that the so-called ‘enlightened’ Franko-Masons in our midst came up with.

They then convinced the Tzar that this was a ‘great way’ of pulling the Jews away from their ‘antiquated’ faith and belief in the Torah, and encouraging them to ‘assimilate’ with the non-Jews.

And if I can tell you anything about these people, it’s that they just keep pulling the same stunts again and again and again, to try and break the Jewish people, and especially our connection to Hashem and the true Tzaddikim.

(Whisper this: Israel is an atheist-satanic, anti-God, Commie State. Always was. Always will be – until it finally crumbles into dust.)

May we just hear good news.

    R. Mendel Kessin said in his latest shiur that the erev rav has a tremendous merit in their financial support for yeshivos. So how does Hashem take away their merits and speed up their demise? What is happening now?

      That explains why the Rav’s institutions are so under-funded and constantly in massive debt, while places like the Mir are booming…

    HI Rivky
    A couple days ago, I was zoche to joining the group with Rav Elmaliach saying 7xTHs at the kotel. There was about 20-25 of us there. That was it. It showed me something about what most of the people in Shuvu Banim really think of Rav Elmaliach now. Sad.

      I didn’t even know it was happening – I was offline, and no-one mentioned anything to me.

      Otherwise, I would have liked to have gone. Please give me a heads up if you can, if he’s doing more atzerot, as praying is always something worthwhile to do.

      R Elmaliach is awesome…. his Torah is on a totally different level, and he’s also pretty much the only conduit for ‘behind the scenes’ insights currently coming out from Shuvu.

      BTW, I don’t think the ‘no show’ necessarily means people think badly of R Elmaliach. It is Pesach time, even the prayers with the Rav are much less busy than normal, too. And it could just be that everyone has different ‘instructions’ about what they are meant to be doing right now, at least openly.

      who knows.
