This is what we are up against. In all senses of the word.
We only have Hashem to rely on to resolve what’s going on in Eretz Yisrael.
I watched a few seconds and I already knew this was nothing but trouble.
Vox Day repeatedly urges: “Don’t talk to the media.” Just don’t. You are not special. You are not more clever than them. They will happily record hours of material for sake of five seconds that undoes all are your cleverness.
There are exceptions of course (one of the greats: https://voxday.net/2018/07/02/rules-are-made-to-be-broken/) but YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THEM.

Unfortunately it it a ‘trusted source’ by most of the world. However is is a thoroughly anti semitic & anti Israel organisation, & has been for years. I remember going to an anti BBC protest in Trafalgar Square over 20 years ago. My son in law got talking to a man who said he worked for the BBC & he said that he was Jewish & it was a thoroughly toxic & anti semitic workplace. It is worse now. I used to make complaints but however egregious the material the Beeb never found any grounds for my complaint. After a few years I just stopped wasting my time.
I have now stopped watching & listening to it altogether. On the whole the media here is anti Israel, even the independent media. There are a few exceptions (kudos Sheilagh Fogerty LBC afternoon show) but mainly even those who say they ‘support Israel’ pick & choose what they support when they have anti semitic callers. The Labour Government is now talking about ‘recognising a Pal state soon’. The UK is a lost cause, the Government won’t change for 4 years & by then the damage will be done!

When are we going to learn, really, what authentic Jewish leadership really looks and sounds like….
I have encouraged, more than once, on my blog, that anyone who would deprive the Jews of our right to come back HOME (including Gaza) to burn their bible in public, whatever kind they have…as long as it’s THEIR OWN BOOK, and not our scrolls and books!
I want to see what happens to them when they openly, publicly (or publically, as the British spell it) repudiate the Torah by forbidding us to return to the land of our ancestors.
A lot of the people who oppose our right to return home are Xians, who supposedly claim our Torah, prophecies and writings as within their belief system; and even the Mooslims call us “people of the Book.” If it’s only the Erev Rav among us that they reject, then why are they going after the religious Jews as well?
I know that I’m not even close to having the influence to actually have this message reach such people; what I’m trying to test, if at all possible, is whether they’re strong enough morally to protest in a manner that doesn’t actually harm Jews. Everything they do now involves some harm or another to us, the weak ones (in numbers, that is. They’ve been pretty close to wiping us off the map many times already; but God keeps His promise to us continually, and we’re still here!).
I think I agree with Shimshon. No spokesperson is way, way better than any of these ‘spokespeople’.
Yes, I agree too. Maybe I should stop trying to get effective ideas and just disappear. But would that really help?
You ‘disappearing’ doesn’t help anyone…. Perhaps, what’s required is just a re-evaluation of what an ‘effective idea’ actually looks like. Any idea based on engaging with our current political mess, is ineffective, in my view. But there’s lot of other things we could be thinking about, and trying, that would probably be way more ‘effective’….
bs”d I heard that for the last 3 days or so the Rav went to Gaza and visited a very nice family there. The Rav didn’t see how it was helping the situation by bombing innocent people’s houses.

BTW, on a seperate but related note, given that the Houthis for sure didn’t fire that last rocket at Natbag, we also have to consider the notion that when we bombed the airport in Sana’a back to the stone ages…. was it really justified?

BTW, I am not ‘pro’ this documentary at all, it’s clearly BBC propaganda, and is clearly not telling anywhere near the full story.
At the same time – I am also not ‘pro’ idiots in our own community, who think they can shoot their mouths off on camera – to the BBC! – about ‘bombing Gaza to ruins’ and driving out the ‘camel drivers’ – but then get upset, when the non-Jews start accusing us of ‘genocide’. To say it’s retarded is not coming close to describing the lack of seichel going on here. It comes back to that whole idea of ‘God vs guns’ that I wrote about a couple of years ago. Each time we pick guns and violence, ‘the craft of Esav’, over prayer, teshuva and the ‘voice of Yaakov’ – we are going to pay a very big price for that.
