‘UFOS’ and spiritual deception
There’s a very interesting article on the anti-semitic SOTT site, about UFO-demons.
You can see the full, long, well-written article HERE.
These are some snippets that caught my eye:
The Orthodox patristic tradition has a specific term for what happens when demonic entities present themselves as luminous, wise, and spiritually elevating to unprepared human minds: prelest, meaning spiritual deception. Seraphim Rose, a hieromonk who died in 1982 at forty-seven, argued in his 1975 work Orthodoxy and the Religion of the Future that the modern UAP encounter accounts matched the patristic descriptions of prelest with a precision that was not coincidental.
Rose had come to Orthodoxy through comparative religion and Eastern philosophy — he had read Guénon carefully before his conversion, and Guénon’s diagnosis of modernity’s metaphysical dissolution remained foundational to how he read everything that followed. The entities in the UAP record presented as wise, claimed cosmic significance, produced experiences of profound meaning and transformation in their witnesses — and required nothing of those witnesses in the way of moral or spiritual development. That last detail is, in the Orthodox tradition, the definitive diagnostic marker of deception rather than genuine spiritual contact.

A practicing Catholic whose prior scholarly work focused in part on Marian apparitions, Diana Walsh Pasulka was not looking for a new religion when she began researching what became her 2019 book American Cosmic. She was a religious studies professor at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with the methodological training to recognize the structural features of a new religion forming in real time. That is what she found — operating not at the credulous margins but at the highest levels of the American defense and technology establishment.
The central argument of American Cosmic is not that UAP are real or unreal, extraterrestrial or demonic or psychological. It is that the phenomenon functions as a religion-generating force regardless of its ultimate nature, and that this function is operating at the highest levels of the technological establishment rather than, or in addition to, the credulous margins where the popular imagination places it. The people Pasulka embedded with in the course of her research were not rural abductees or convention circuit enthusiasts. They were scientists with security clearances, Silicon Valley figures with access to classified programs, aerospace engineers who spoke about their work in the register of the converted…
==
If Rose is right about what the phenomenon is, then Pasulka’s embedded researchers are people in the process of being deceived by something that has been deceiving human beings for millennia and has gotten very good at it…

Exorcism in the classical sense is not a defensive posture. It is the assertion that hidden things can be identified, confronted, and expelled. Whether that applies to non-human psychic entities, to a human breakaway civilization, or to some entanglement of both, the logic is the same. Avoidance and gradualism are strategies for living with something. Exorcism is a strategy for ending it. The civilization that spent seventy years managing this problem has not yet asked whether ending it is possible. Given what the record contains, that question is probably overdue.

Before we continue, the authentic Jewish tradition that is always overlooked and missing from these arguments explains way more of the ‘holes’ in the theories about what is really going on. As mentioned, the Zohar clearly talks about 7 underground worlds, however we are meant to really understand that, populated by ‘things’ that seem to have some corporeal reality, but aren’t human.
And as said before, I don’t know if those ‘things’ are just more subsets of demons, or something else, but for sure, there are spiritual phenomena going on here that smug idiots like to characterise as ‘aliens’, and then stop there, thinking orthodox Jews are STOOPID and misguided, for not following their lead.
The more a person has a soul, the more they already understand, how little they, or perhaps anyone else, really knows about how God created the world and is running it.
This was always the province of the kabbalists – and so many of them, too, were ‘deceived’ and destroyed by the spiritual entities they came into contact with.
It’s very, very dangerous to mess around with this stuff, even for genuinely holy people with genuinely good intentions.

So now, bottom line, what are the takeaways from the snippets above, relevant to you and me?
Let’s focus on this one:
The entities in the UAP record presented as wise, claimed cosmic significance, produced experiences of profound meaning and transformation in their witnesses — and required nothing of those witnesses in the way of moral or spiritual development. That last detail is, in the Orthodox tradition, the definitive diagnostic marker of deception rather than genuine spiritual contact.

You know how I keep banging on about working on our middot?
That there is nothing ‘for free’ in this world, spiritually, and each of us has work to do?
That is genuine Breslov, authentic Rebbe Nachman, consistent Rav Berland.
And, it’s missing from nearly all the other ‘Jewish content’ you find circulating online, even from people with big beards and loads of books on their shelves.
If this bit is consistently missing from the ‘discourse’, where your Jewish guru:
required nothing of those witnesses in the way of moral or spiritual development
Then, I would pause, and seriously ask myself:
Is this person, and all their ‘wisdom’, and all their ‘miracles’, and all their ‘transformation’ – is it coming from a good place, really?
Or not?

The next thing to pay attention to, is that the military-industrial complex has been intertwined with these demonic entities for a very long time.
Which also starts to explain why the wars are never-ending, soul-destroying and totally pointless, from a ‘building the world’ or ‘helping humanity’ perspective.
Doesn’t it?
==
The last thing to pay attention to, is this:
Pasulka’s embedded researchers are people in the process of being deceived by something that has been deceiving human beings for millennia and has gotten very good at it…
We are dealing with layers upon layers of spiritual deception.
This has literally been going on for millenia – and let’s not kid ourselves that the Jewish community is immune to it.
Sabbateanism began as an outgrowth of kabbalah practised by individuals who didn’t have the moral ‘vessel’ required to properly handle their knowledge.
This also wasn’t a new process or problem, but as the kabbalah spread to the masses, the sheer numbers of ‘rabbis’ and others who felt they ‘knew kabbalah’ increased – and made them prime targets for the Sitra Achra.
==
When a person learns kabbalah, they usually get very arrogant, that they ‘know how stuff works’.
Pride is the one thing that Hashem can’t stand, so that person grows in arrogance and kabbalistic knowledge – but also, distances himself from Hashem, and the protection that comes from being under Hashem’s wing.
That person then becomes a prime candidate for a ‘demonic takeover’, but of course, that’s not how it’s presented, at least, not initially.
It’s presented as ‘dreams from Tzaddikim’; or ‘spirit guides’; of help from some friendly ‘angelic being’, that’s happy to share awesome spiritual wisdom with you, but doesn’t say a word about you needing to work on bad middot, shalom bayit and shmirat eynayim, for example.
==
This has been an issue, a problem, for millenia.
Just now, it’s gone mainstream.
==
Ultimately, all this is from God, and this too is for the best.
The point is this:
the phenomenon functions as a religion-generating force

As the UFO narrative starts to increase in force, more and more people will be forced into thinking about spiritual aspects to life.
Part of the UFO narrative is to shove Judaism and the Torah into the same ‘basket’ as xtianity and islam, and then to try and negate all three equally, as being ‘tools’ used to ‘control the masses’.
For two of the above, that charge holds true.
But the Torah was given directly from God, and it cannot be compared to any other man-made religion.
This is going to be the frontline of the spiritual battle, approaching in the guise of ‘UFOS.’
And the main gun in the arsenal is Rabbenu, Rebbe Nachman, and Breslov.

How are you? Do you know anything |(or someone who does) about the Breslov shul in the Arnona area? What times do they daven on Shabbat? I had the one on : Kdoshei Saloniki in mind, but if there are others great.
I didn’t know there was a Breslov shul in Arnona…
I’m posting this up, if anyone knows please respond to David.
Like when Aleister Crowley, Jack Parsons (and his girlfriend), and L. Ron Hubbard went to what’s now Area 51 and did Satanic sex-magic rituals called the Babalon [sic] Workings, where they claimed to have opened a portal to another dimension, whence demons began to come out.
I’m coming to the realization that the (Psy-op) show “Ancient Aliens” is actually kind of right: that ancient civilizations just as much as the latter-day ones had all kind of contact with other-worldly beings; only, unlike what the show says, they are not aliens, but demons…
And that bit about shoving God’s Torah in with the other man-made religions and claiming it’s just another tool for controlling the masses (from which enslavement the demons will tell us they hold the key to freedom!), I’ve seen a bit of that among the so-called “awake” crowd (what an arrogant name they oft call themselves).
I desire that you should see these articles, about the very same you wrote about here:

Crowley is an ‘interesting’ guy. Came from a Plymouth Brethren family, then went to work for British Intelligence – the files on him have all been scrubbed from the British government archives, so clearly, he was up to something ‘big’.

Read your links now – they are definitely worth reading, in terms of pulling the background together. The one caveat is that the book of Revelation also takes authentic Torah and mixes it up with ‘demonic’ stuff, so I’d be very wary of swallowing it all down uncritically.
Where xtianity fits into this matrix of ‘Divine vs demonic’ is a whole other part of this story, and it’s going to be a v.v. difficult ‘birur’ for a lot of people, in my view.
If the UFOs show up and tell people it’s time to get ‘raptured’, so climb aboard the spaceship, sonny!…
it’s going to be interesting.
