The Zip Line
Shavua Tov!
Last week, I went for the first time ever on a zip line – the one in Jerusalem, being operated by the City of David.
That’s a big deal, because I always liked the idea of going on a zip line, but I felt scared to do it.
But since ‘Iran’, and all the ‘Iranian’ B-2 bombers, I suddenly realised that I don’t want to carry on living life in that scared space, anymore.
I want to only fear Hashem.
So, I booked a ticket, and I went.

The Zip itself is a good Zip.
Would I do it again? Probably not.
In terms of the ‘experience’ itself it wasn’t something I loved, and that I’d feel the need to do again.
But, in terms of the not letting fear stop me from doing things – it was awesome.
Life is too short, to keep living in fear, even though there is so much that seems so scary these days.

There are other things on my list of ‘overcoming fears’ that I am now considering, including, where to go with my writing.
I haven’t got the clarity yet, but I am really praying that I can overcome the ‘fear’ in a bunch of other places, and start to move forward again.
I feel like we so all need a new start.
Rosh Hashana is around the corner – and at least in my neck of the woods, you can already smell Uman in the air.
The Rav said to go, whatever it costs, and to fly out no later than the 25th of Elul
The tickets are already going fast, so try the Revivo website, if you are looking for something a little cheaper, otherwise, Derech Tzadikkim.

But, don’t let fear stop you from moving forward.
Only fear Hashem.
And then, do what you need to do.
With God’s help.
