Sometimes, Hashem sends you just what you need in unexpected ways.

I was watching more Anna Runkel, when this popped up in the feed:

It’s really, really good.

BH, it’s helping me to feel a little calmer, in a profound way.

Taking the sympathetic nervous system out of constant overdrive, and overwhelm.

I was talking to my neighbour, an art therapist yesterday, about how I think that half of Israel has PTSD.

She actually thinks all of Israel has PTSD, on some level.

She was also talking about Covid, and how angry she is that she got scammed into taking 3 shots, because they told her at work that otherwise she’d be fired.

How did we all fall for that?! she asked me, clearly very upset about the whole thing.

How did they manage to brainwash everyone into going along with them?!

Ah, that’s a whole conversation, isn’t it?

I am still seeing a few of the ‘leaders’ who were pushing Covid shots hard giving impressive sounding ‘shiurim’ on Youtube.

Personally, I can’t stand listening for even a second.

It’s an integrity thing – if someone could be so ‘wrong’ about something like that, and they never made teshuva about it and admitted they made a mistake, how can anyone trust their judgement?

Their ‘Torah’?

It’s possible I’m being too judgmental about all this, it’s not easy to row back in public like that, I know. It’s a very hard test.

At the same time, if people are putting themselves out there as leaders and mentors, then their personal integrity has to be a real cut above the rest, to justify the influence they are trying so hard to exert.

Here’s to calmer times.

Here’s to gentle revolutions, that change what’s required within us, without the need for such violent storms and situations outside, all the time.

Shabbat shalom.
