Rectifying the Nova

On the surface, it looked like ‘nothing much’ happened yesterday, at least that was ‘bad’.

The Chag here in Jerusalem was celebrated with a lot of joy, a lot of dancing, a lot of simcha – more than I remember in previous years.

The weather was gorgeous, sunny, but breezy.

The Rav came out on time for the hakafot at the Kotel, and it felt way, way ‘lighter’ than the previous year.

I went down to Shuvu on Ido HaNavi for the morning, spent an hour there, even danced a little.

I came back the way I came last Simchat Torah, and sat on a bench in Teddy Park eating a snack.

Last year, I sat under a tree there for 10 minutes, waiting for the sirens to end.

====

My husband got back from the dancing at 2.30pm.

We ate, he slept, I read, did some TKs.

Things felt ‘nicer’ than they have felt for a very long time, BH.

====

Post-chag, we were planning to go to the Rav’s Hakafot HaShneyot – but I couldn’t find out where they were being held this year, or what time they were starting.

In the meantime, one of my kids called me to tell me they were on the way to the site of last year’s ‘Nova Party’, for hakafot hashneyot.

To cut a long story short, we decided to go too.

====

I don’t have WAZE, so I looked it up on a map before we went.

This map, to be precise:

====

Itzik was shot running away or trying to drive down road 232, in the direction of Kibbutz Reim.

I’d never been to that bit of Israel before, and I wanted to orientate myself, before we headed off.

It was pretty quiet in the car on the drive down (possibly, because my husband was worrying I’d drive him into Gaza by mistake, or something. ;-))

We passed Netivot, took the left onto Route 232, drove past Kibbutz Alumim, got past the notorious Kibbutz Be’eri – and then hit a mile-long traffic jam.

Hundreds and hundreds of people, probably a good few thousands altogether over the night, were also driving to the site of the Nova Massacre, to do hakafot hashneyot.

====

I got that weird feeling I sometimes get, when things are bigger, spiritually, than I can really grasp or sometimes understand myself.

Wow, this is such a tikkun (rectification) for what happened on this road a year ago….

When hundreds of people had been dancing around a buddha on Simchat Torah, high off their faces, before getting trapped on that road, and shot like fish in a barrel.

And this year…. the queue to get into the site was happening post-Chag, and was happening to sanctify God’s name.

====

After half an hour, we managed to park in some field, and then we walked another 10 minutes down to the Reim open area that was the site of the Nova party / massacre.

It was pretty surreal, but not creepy.

You walk through dusty tracks to a half-wooded ‘forest’ (or what passes for a forest, in Israel) – the dust was billowing through the air, giving the same effect you get from a smoke machine at gigs.

And in the middle – a mass of dancing Jews, holding a Sefer Torah….. and one guy on someone else’s shoulders, still waving a big flag of Israel.

====

My husband went to join the dancing for half an hour, and I decided to walk around the dancing and to clap a bit, and talk to God.

All over Reim park now, they have memorials set up to the people who were murdered there.

Some of them are mamash permanent, official, State-sponsored, some of them are much more personal and individual.

There was a ‘field’ of laminated pictures of different party-goers on metal rods, driven into the ground where they were killed.

There was the ‘yellow dumpster’ exhibition, where 12 (?) people were hiding until they were found towards the end of the massacre and fired upon. I think four survived.

====

So, I walked around clapping in the half-dark, with the music of the Hakafot playing loudly, reading about the people who were killed at Nova – and how they were killed.

BH, I will go back with a camera in the daylight, and we’ll do that as a whole other post.

Even the ‘official stories’, so whitewashed and so cleaned-up, point the finger of guilt for what happened so clearly and firmly, at our own government and army. The Evils, who are running things at the top.

====

The first 20 minutes, I was actually searching for Itzik.

I knew he’d been killed further down the road, and I was debating whether to try and find his memorial, when I got the thought in my head that it wasn’t necessary to do that.

Itzik isn’t here.

He’s in a much better place, already.

====

On the way out, there was another shorter jam to leave Route 232, where so  much of the killing occurred.

We passed a police car blocking the entrance into Route 232, so no-one else could join the Hakafot.

Just like on that fateful day, where ‘the police’ barred the exits to Route 232 to fleeing partygoers, many of whom were forced back into the Nova site – where they were killed like fish in a barrel.

That wasn’t an accident, or an oversight.

That was the plan, all along.

====

Rav Berland explained all this clearly, back in November 2023.

Take a look at this post:

THE SUPERNOVA PARTY WAS A DEATH TRAP

Snippet of what the Rav said:

The whole point [of the party] was – let’s state this firmly – was that as many young people as possible dafka from dati families should come,and we’ll ‘get happy’ with them, and we’ll dance with them, and we’ll ‘make them happy’.

For this is the ikker (main point) to semachta be’hagecha.

They said there was going to be such great ‘happiness’!

Such a festival that has never been since the founding of the State!

And this was a blow to the religious – and they said this explicitly.

That all the kids would come, and from all the religious homes they would come [to the party] – and they would take the children from all the religious families.

==

[The Super Nova party] was a death trap.

This – the Satan did this. And it was a death trap.

The Torah says to dance [on Simchat Torah] with Sifrei Torah, not with vodka.

I don’t have ‘vodka’ written by me, by me, it’s written ‘to dance with Sifrei Torah’ in my Shulchan Aruch.

By them, it was written ‘to dance with vodka’.

====

Deep sigh.

But yesterday, all that got rectified.

It was the tipping point, spiritually, you could feel it in the air.

Sure, there was still three people with three Israeli flags – but for that mostly dati leumi crowd, three flags is actually nothing.

The last idol is crumbling before our eyes, and it can’t come fast enough.

====

Over Simchat Torah this year, walking back from the Rav, there was the strong feeling that ‘the Evils’ will be gone by the end of this coming year, permanently.

Not just the puppets, that are called ‘Hamas’ and ‘Hezbollah’, but also all the other people in the chain of evil, including the middle men paying over all those suitcases of cash and releasing murderous terrorists endlessly, to carry on murdering Jews in cold blood.

While we tell ourselves bubbe meises that someone is a ‘tzaddik’ just because they got a blessing from the Lubavitcher Rebbe…

====

Let’s end with this.

Over the Chag, FOUR Major Generals were killed in ‘operations’ in Gaza.

This screenshot is from the Daniel Amram Telegram:

====

Major General is a fairly high rank in the IDF.

HERE is a website that lists the ranks in order.

This are all ‘ALUF-im’.

How is it possible that four ALUF-im were lost in one mission in Lebanon?

====

UPDATE:

There are other reports they aren’t all major generals. It’s possible something got ‘lost in translation’ with the screenshot. But five Jewish souls dead like this – effectively for nothing – still makes the heart break, regardless of their rank.

====

You can carry on thinking that ‘Hamas’ and ‘Hezbollah’ are the real enemies we are fighting.

The heart bleeds for the families of these brave, but misguided, beautiful Jews, who still haven’t grasped who the real enemy is.

BH, may these be the last korbanot required from us, before the Evils finally fall for good.

But make no mistake: the Evils are living on borrowed time.

And 5785 is the year God finally gives them what they so richly deserve.

      It could be Daniel Amram has it wrong. Two of them, at least, do look old enough to be Major Generals, tho – they are in their 40s. May Hashem avenge their blood.

      UPDATE:

      I fixed the reference in the post to reflect the corrections you sent. Thanks for taking the time to feedback.

    I am relieved to read this (actually I read this a few days ago).
    Do you mean all the Satanic wicked ones in the whole world will fall this year, or only in Israel?
