AKA: Putin and Trump

I only know about this meeting because my husband told me he saw something, fleeting, on the Google headlines he can’t seem to get away from, on his PC.

Non-Brits might not know what ‘Punch and Judy’ is – take a look at THIS WIKI, which explains the basic idea.

Basically, ‘Punch’ beats up on ‘Judy’ – and sometimes, vice-versa.

It can be very entertaining, and was a favourite British amusement, before TV and the internet showed up.

The point is: there is some guy crouching below the stage with his hands up the backsides of both the puppets, manipulating both of them, and even providing the comedy voices.

Here’s a snippet from the London Museum:

Punch, that squeaky-voiced clown, fights and deceives whoever crosses his path. Including his wife. And their baby.

Just bootiful, baby! We’re going to have an amazing peace process here! That’s the way to do it!
