Moved to tears
I haven’t watched a single ‘Tisha B’Av’ video so far….
And I’m not planning on changing that, as the last three hours of the fast wind down here, in Israel.
Yesterday, I walked off to the Rav motzash, then did hitbodedut for an hour as I walked home. I got in to find my girls watching ‘Baby Boom’ – a series where they follow expectant mothers into the delivery room in Ichilov Hospital.
Not exactly regular Tisha B’av viewing….

That particular program featured a young woman who was giving birth to her first child, a son, by herself, because his father, Amir, got killed on October 7th, 2023.
Me and my girls started bawling our eyes out.
Tatty, this hurts so much, so many people are suffering!
An hour later, the floor was covered with soggy kleenex, and I went to bed.
I couldn’t sleep.
I started thinking about the people I love, and asking God to look after us all, and to bring the next stage of this process as sweetly as possible, without more good Jews dying or being badly injured, or being forced into doing things that are so *difficult*, spiritually, in Gaza, that they end up killing themselves when they finally make it out of the army.
Some more tears leaked onto the pillow.

I dropped off.
Today, I did 7 TKs for the Rav and Am Yisrael, went out to get some bits for supper, and decided to take it easy, for a change.
In Superpharm, there was a women going hysterical because her children had asked Chat GPT some question about when the war is going to end, and got back an answer along the lines of ‘Jews control the whole world, so it’s up to them’.
The woman was literally hysterical when she heard that.
Even ChatGPT has gone full Candace Owens.

Tomorrow, BH, I am going to start the first post in a series really laying out what ‘Christian antisemitism’ is, when it got started, how it manifested, and how much damage it’s done to humanity generally, as well as the Jews specifically, the last 2,000 years.
If you were going to plan a narcissistic, evil religion that would pull people away from God and the revealed word of God, make hypocrisy the gold standard for human interaction, and disguise every horrible midda under the cloak of ‘righteous anger’ (and also, ‘righteous murder’, ‘righteous plunder’ and ‘righteous rapine’), it’s hard to know how you could do a better job than xtianity.
It’s diabolical, how everything has been inverted to make the joooos to blame for all the evil in the world, when the Jews have been slaughtered in their millions for the last 2,000 years, by the xtians who really ‘run the world’. And continue to do so.

My bedtime prayer yesterday night is that all this human suffering, violence and heresy should stop.
That the whole world should finally come back to God, with the Jews leading the way.
There is so much teshuva going on in this country, so many broken hearts who are whispering their own quiet prayers to God.
That’s why I KNOW, 100%, that some sort of turnaround for the good is imminent.

But I am increasingly feeling how much God loves us all, and that everything that is happening now is a massive tikkun, for so much that has gone wrong before, and to atone for all the wrong turns we’ve taken as a people, the last 2,000 years.
It’s all just a test of free choice.
A chance to serve God lishma.
And sooner or later, the darkness will break.

Islam?
Isn’t it true that by them, as long as it’s for the sake of ‘ullahaha and his false prophet, it’s a good thing and all is permitted?
And they are not ashamed of themselves AT ALL. And even the so-called ‘moderates’ among them are supporting them financially — so are just as guilty as the suicide bombers- and thieves- and rapists-for-‘ullahaha.

I am not an expert on islamic doctrine, although you are the second person that’s asked me in the last 24 hours, so at some point, maybe I will need to go and ‘deep dive’ on what the Koran really says, too.
Theologically, Islam doesn’t teach that ‘muslims replaced Jews’ as the chosen people, as far as I’m aware, or at least, not in the blatant way that xtianity did and does. Christian doctrine is fundamentally ‘anti-Jewish’, while Islamic doctrine is ‘anti non-muslims’, or dhimmis.
I’m also not a fan of Islam, but if you look at where the real hatred for Jews is coming from at the theological level, it’s xtianity.
