More exploding meteors over New England

Shavua Tov!

The mad world continues to be mad… if you pay attention to it.

In the meantime, take a look at this, about a ‘meteor’ that apparently just exploded over Boston:

Snippet:

The sudden, invisible blast triggered widespread confusion and alarm among local communities. Scores of residents took to social media networks to report sudden, thunderous detonations, with numerous accounts noting that the shockwave was intense enough to physically vibrate their houses.

If that happened here in Israel, we’d think it was ‘Iran’…

Wouldn’t we?

Here’s some footage:

I had some interesting conversations over Shabbat, with a mum whose son has been in the army for 4 1/2 years.

He finished his regular service right before Oct 7th, then had 2 1/2 years of miluim.

He has some serious, serious, PTSD, amongst many other things going on.

Something really has to change radically, with the way the system is operating.

She was telling me:

Why send boys to war like this? Why not train an army of proper professional soldiers, people who WANT to serve, give them amazing benefits, and make sure they have all the support and instruction they need to do it professionally?

Why keep traumatizing generation after generation of young people like this, for what?

It’s a good question.

More people need to start asking these good questions, about how to reorganise the army along lines that will help to prevent needless deaths of the soldiers serving, and stop yelling about drafting chareidim.

Professional soldiers are much harder to manipulate, boss around and send into situations that risk their lives, unnecessarily.

Professional soldiers are more likely to have their own ideas, from experience, about what is a good ‘order’, and what is a recipe for disaster, a death trap waiting to happen.

In the meantime, interesting how the meteors are starting to explode all over the place, way more than normal…

Isn’t it?

Reminds me of a post I wrote a long time ago, called How God uses comets to fight for the Jews.

Maybe, just maybe, we are about to witness another example of that happening again.

I hope that God will use meteors and other objects/other kinds of things to fight for the Jews!

    Thank you for this, Rivka.
