Mamdani the Chossid

A reader sent me an analysis of some footage from Bondi Beach, that made me really, really angry.

Of course, I can’t tell you why, or even hint at why.

So in the meantime, let me introduce you to the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s latest chossid:

==

False leaders were a big problem in Rabbenu’s time, who overlapped, just about, with ‘Jacob Frank’ and a bunch of Erev Rav fakers who were intent on taking over the Jewish community, and chassidut, for their own ends, ‘Jewish pride’ and prestige.

These ‘empowered Erev Rav leaders’ were often very convincing – that’s how they got so many people to follow after them, and throw money at them, and to call them ‘Rebbe’ and ‘miracle worker’, and even, for the really ambitious ones, ‘Moshiach’.

So, Rabbenu laid out some guidelines for how a simple person like you and me could really tell, who was a real tzaddik, a genuine holy person – and who was an Erev Rav faker, just in it for their own prestige, power, and ‘pride’:

Check their students.

==

Rebbe Nachman explained that each ‘Rebbe’ leaves an indelible print on their followers, like an ink stamper.

While you can’t see on the stamp itself, or to use Rabbenu’s terminology, the ‘seal’, what’s truly written there, once that stamp is ‘inked up’ and rolled-out in the world, it becomes much easier to see what is really being passed along and ‘moulded’ in the world.

==

So, we can add the chossid Mamdani to the chossid Trump, the chossid Jared, the chossid Bibi, the chossid Shimon Peres, and a bunch of other deep state bad actors that can literally keep you up all night feeling a tad pukey.

==

In other news, I was sitting in a coffee shop a couple of days ago in the South, when a woman approached my table and shoved on it two things:

Thing One: A shiny, bright yellow laminated card that had a picture of the Rebbe printed on the front, with the single word ‘MOSHIACH’ printed on the bottom, in big letters.

Thing Two: Some parsha sheet from ‘the Rebbe Moshiach’ about Chanuka.

She seemed like a nice woman, I didn’t want to make a scene, I didn’t want to tell her loudly you know Moshiach can’t be a dead guy, right?!

That’s not nice behaviour, it’s not respectful.

Just like with members of the Hare Krishna, you can’t just pull a person out of their delusions by screaming at them in public.

So I took her stuff, and after she’d left – I stuck them straight in the trash can.

I know, I know. All these bad middot I still have to work on.

==

On the drive home, I passed five, maybe ten, new banners hung up on the road signs access walks on Highway 1, telling me to ‘Greet the Moshiach’ – of course, that same yellow hue that became so familiar from the ‘Bring them home NOW!!!!’ campaign, that same dead guy, who absolutely, positively CANNOT be the Moshiach, even if really was the biggest tzaddik alive – because he is dead.

Again, I have to wonder  who is paying for all this stuff?

==

In the massive traffic jam that is now Jerusalem, I had ample time to read the careful joint branding on the massive Menorah stuck up in ‘Kikar Tsarfat’ – right next to the PM’s official residence.

It was ‘badd branding together with the branding of the Jerusalem Iriya.

It’s not the first time I’ve seen ‘badd propaganda ‘branded’ together with the Jerusalem town hall. A couple of years ago during Succot, the Iriya stuck signs with their branding, together with a massive picture of the Rebbe, all over the place, which said this: ‘He is everybody’s Rebbe’.

He’s not my Rebbe… I thought to myself. What can I do? Still so many bad middot to work on.

But the point really is: who is paying for all this?

==

Who is paying for this relentless, non-stop propaganda?

Where is all this money coming from – is it my tax shekels, that are paying for all this ‘badd propaganda in tandem with the Iriya?

==

And then the next question is:

Why are so many non-Jewish, deep state bad actors apparently sucking up to a guy who died 30 years?

Once we know the answer to these two questions, I’m sure we’ll know a lot more.

    All this stuff is so mixed up…

    Believing that True Tzaddikim chai v’kayim, live and are ‘alive’, even after their deaths, is a basic fundamental of authentic Judaism – hence the song about King David.

    That doesn’t mean that they are still ‘in the bodies’, incarnated, in the way they would have to be, in order to fulfill the requirements to be Moshiach, as clearly set down in the Gemara, which has a whole discussion about whether Moshiach can be someone who returns from the dead, and clearly rules that NO HE CANNOT BE SOMEONE WHO ‘RETURNS’ FROM THE DEAD.

    So, this idea is a very easy one to use and abuse, and that is what is sadly happening.

    Re: the ‘jealousy’ idea, it’s also interesting. Really, it’s not about Moshiach being ‘Breslov’, or part of the team that we identify with, it’s about the koach of Moshiach being one that encourages people at the soul level to connect back to God and become more authentic Jewish expressions of themselves in the world.

    It’s about humility, real emuna, an hour of hitbodedut a day, bitul, bizyonot – i.e. the polar opposite of so-called ‘Jewish pride’, whatever that is supposed to mean, where we walk around all puffed-up with ga’ava about how great and ‘entitled’ we are, regardless of our thoughts, actions and teshuva.

    So, it’s less about the actual ‘persona’ of Moshiach, or at least, that’s how it is in Breslov, and way, way more about the individual’s efforts to live up to the spiritual standards of the ‘time of Moshiach’, as outlined above. Which is why Rav Natan stated that his moshiach had already come – he didn’t mean ‘Moshiach came already and is hanging out in some cave for the next 30 years…’

    He meant in his own lifetime, he’d attained the spiritual level of the times of Moshiach, i.e. seeing God behind everything and blessing on the ‘bad’ the same as on the ‘good’.

    These ideas are very deep.

    Apparently, Milei’s dog is now accepting kvitlach – for a small fee. Contact your local ‘badd rep for more details and a link to their Charidy page.

    😉

      you know if I was a less scrupulous person I would absolutely make that charidy page! lol.

      one of my favorite things about reb nosson saying his mashiach already came is to look at his actions and behavior and especially the account of his last day. firstly reb nosson was known to be fastidious in guarding his time. shortly before he passed away his watch broke and he hastened to have it repaired so important it was for him to know the time in order to do all his avoda. on his last day he put on his tallis and tefilin, he davened, he learned shulchan aruch with all the commentaries, he then asked for the “kol tuv” the chumash. not only did he not cruise along because “mashiach already came”, until his very last breath reb nosson was actively serving hashem with great zeal and simcha!

      talk about knowing the seal from the stamp.

      I believe this account is translated and published in the BRI book “through fire and water”. bliss neder I’ll look it up.

    “Who is paying for all this stuff?”

    We are, we the taxpayers. There is nothing government subsidized. All the funding provided by government is taxpayer subsidized. All of it.

    And if the early reports prove to be true, we the sheeple are on the hook to fund the clean-up in azza. Supposedly the medina caved to amerikkan pressure to undertake the removal of 60+ millions tons of debris and rubble. Now, here is a real reason to clog the streets in protest. After seemingly being pressured to play by amerikkan rules in azza, to turn it into a globalist forever war, they have the chutzpa to demand that we clean it up. It’s time the sheep took to the streets and demand that the amerikkans go to hell.
