Loud booms
I woke up today to ‘loud booms’ here in Israel.
Sadly, nothing so unusual about that at the moment.
But then, one of my readers sent me this:

Loud booms all over…. America.
Take a listen, think for yourself, what might be going on here.
The world is feeling kinda unreal at the moment, in a million different ways. So, I am trying to manage all this ‘unreality’ by focussing on what IS real:
Cleaning my fridge for Pesach.
Doing my research for school.
Babysitting my grandkids.
That stuff is ‘real’.
At least, it’s more ‘real’ than whatever we’re being told is going on right now in the ‘real world’.

I feel a little sorry for the people who like to believe that notions that the world is being run by a small bunch of elite psychopaths is just ‘conspiracy theories’.
I have no idea how they are coping with our current unreal ‘reality’, and probably, they aren’t.
I am SO grateful for Rebbe Nachman and the Rav.
How else, would we get through all this strange stuff with our souls and optimism intact?

Meteors are crashing through the roof in Houston, Texas:

This meteorite crashed through a Houston woman’s roof in Houston this afternoon.
NASA says the meteor was roughly 3-feet in diameter and weighed 1 ton.

This is also kinda weird, for different reasons:
honestly without them telling you (as with all their narratives historical and current) you wouldn’t know what any of these booms are. between the construction around me and the weird electrical storms and heavy rain the last week I couldn’t tell you what’s what. it all sounds interchangeable. there’s loud booms and no sirens and many times sirens with no booms.
who knows what’s going on… because don’t you know the IDF has destroyed 330 launch sites in iran! you don’t say. and still somehow the frequency of firings don’t seem to decrease. good thing the media keeps repeating how much they’re winning! and also the IDF claims their interceptor stockpiles are low. shame. and iran has suddenly decided eilat is a critical target just as the govt reduces flights from natbag (the danger being so imminent they announced on sunday that it would take affect monday at 5pm. and not a moment sooner. iran missiles are nearly as smart as omicron!) even the land crossings seem inaccessible. aaaand 11 year olds have heart attacks during sirens.
sigh.
so I say I TK. take a breath. notice the fruit trees in bloom right in time to say birkat hailanot and pray our redemption is imminent and sweet as the fragrant blossoms.
