Let there be light

Following on from yesterday’s blog, a couple of things happened.

Thing one: I spoke to someone I’m close to in the US, whose baby got vaxxed for measles – and then developed measles a week later.

The baby had a rash and a fever, which the pediatrician dismissed as a ‘measles-type rash that you get after the measles vaccine, but it’s not measles’.

What happened next, is that two weeks later, this baby had a febrile convulsion and ended up in the ER.

Febrile convulsions are associated with both measles, AND, vaccines containing measles.

But the family’s pediatrician told the parents that their kid just had a bad reaction to the antibiotics they’ve been on for ages, to try to clear up an ear infection that isn’t going away.

====

The parents trust their pediatrician 100%.

They are sure, all this is connected to the moxycillin, and has nothing whatsoever to do with the measles shot.

Me?

I’m highly sceptical, put it that way, that the measles vax had nothing to do with the seizure.

And I was also shocked to see how easily all the evidence pointing to vaccine injuries just gets poo-poohed and shoved under some other carpet, time and time again.

In the meantime, have a look at these articles, on the Midwestern Doctor Substack, HERE:

The Unappreciated Benefits of Natural Light

The Evidence Putting Light Inside the Body Is A Miraculous Therapy

Both of these articles gave me a lot of food for thought, when I read them a few months back.

Since then, I’ve been making a lot more effort to spend some real, quality time in the sunshine – without sunscreen, without sunglasses, without glasses.

And I think it is one of the things that is helping me to feel healthier and more relaxed, as part of the bigger picture.

BH, Israel has no lack of sunshine.

If we would get off our phones more, and spend some time to follow Rabbenu’s advice of looking up at the sky every day…. I think it would do wonders for so many of us.

That’s sunlight, and now, here’s more light, of a spiritual type.

The artist Yehoshua Wiseman has just put out a new book of illustrated Psalms.

Here’s what he sent me:

After years of work and toil, I am grateful to Hashem, to announce the publishing of my new Book of Psalms. It is an incredible creation that brings new life to this precious book. There is a corresponding painting for each of the 150 chapters of Psalms.(284 pages)

The book is 18/25 cm (7/10 inches)

The book is for both English and Hebrew speakers. I know you will appreciate and grow from this book. The special introduction price is $55 (plus $30 for shipping outside of Israel-$10 inside Israel).

And here are some shots from the book:

Get in touch with him directly, if you want a copy, I’m just passing on the info and have no other connection or financial interest.

====

Last thing, I was thinking about the movie ‘Born on the Fourth of July’.

The film with Tom Cruise was based on the true story of Ron Kovic, who was paralysed in Vietnam, and then became an anti-war peace activist.

You can see an interview with him here, from 1977.

Listen to what he’s saying about how war is ‘romanticised’ in our culture, and the huge gap between what is portrayed about ‘war’ – and what it really means, on the personal level.

And then understand the real price of what is going on right now, for our poor soldiers.

May God protect them.

(Shmirat Eynayim friendly).

Sunlight is indeed a powerful force for health, especially when people eliminate seed oils from their diet!

We’ve recently started distilling water using a reverse osmosis machine and have found that it cleanses the body like nothing else. We feel healthier and more alert than ever (not to mention it eliminates all the fluoride).

Once a day, we also add sole (made with Pink Himalayan salt), which some refer to as “liquid sun” due to its rich mineral content and energizing properties.

Many people don’t realize that most commercial table salt is stripped of its natural composition. Out of salt’s 84 trace minerals, industrial processing leaves only sodium and chloride, which, in isolation, is not be ideal for the body. Similarly, we do not know what substances find themselves in our drinking water. Microplastics, metals, chemicals, etc.

Even the Rambam emphasized clean water as one of the pillars of health. In his medical writings, he stressed the importance of pure air, water, and a balanced diet for overall well-being. I highly recommend that everyone prioritize high-quality water in their daily routine.

P.S. Check out these stats from the reverse osmosis machine vs our city’s tap water:

    Tap Water (Netanya):
    TDS: 360 ppm
    Conductivity: 702 µS/cm

    RO Machine:
    TDS: 3 ppm
    Conductivity: 6 µS/cm

I won’t bore you with all the details, other than say it is very much worth looking into. 🙂

I agree, we have had a reverse osmosis system for our drinking water for a long time and there is a huge difference in the quality of the water.

      Hey Rivka,

I think you replied in a different thread but I’m happy to answer here. 🙂

We bought a water distiller (that uses reverse osmosis). The name of our one is called “Clear Waters by El Derech Habriya” which my wife found on elderech.co.il (this was recommended by her lecturers at Elima — the Breslov natural health school).

Regarding seed oils and sunlight: Seed oils are oxidized and react when you are exposed to the sun, essentially “cooking” the person.

There is a clear correlation between skin cancer rates rising and seed oils becoming the commercial norm, despite more people working indoors today. Sunscreens also make it worse since they block all the rays, even the good ones like Vitamin D. Another problem is that sunscreen lets a person stay in the sun longer, as they don’t feel it burning their skin, so they end up staying way beyond the normal limit for their skin, thus causing damaging. Of course, this is besides all the chemicals entering the bloodstream from sunscreen.

Also it is better to let the sweat you secrete while in the sun sit on your body for an hour washing it off if you want to absorb the Vitamin D. The reason: sweat is oily, and Vitamin D is an oil-soluble vitamin. So the moment the sweat is off, it stops the absorption of Vitamin D.

And if you want recommendations for good oils to use for cooking, I recommend cold-pressed olive oil (the real deal, there are a lot of fake ones today mixed with canola oil – which is the worst), cold-pressed coconut oil, but in both cases it is important they are cold-pressed.

The main thing is that the oil is unrefined and cold pressed. For example we flavor Asian dishes with cold-pressed sesame seed oil which is not an issue either.

Yes the sunlight is a healer. Actually the very best time to soak the sun is very very early in the am, as I believe one receives ‘optimal benefits’ w/o any danger. Forgive me but I don’t remember where I learned that. However I love to feel the sun penetrating my skin and bones; but yes not at ‘high noon’. I especially love the late afternoon rays as they are slanted differently (downward) and more softly caress the skin and easier on the eyes than the early morning slanted upward rays (allowing only 10 min at a time).
One footnote: I strongly believe we are experiencing more of those cloudy toxic skies than in former years. I’ve been here 15 years and notice the difference. We do not receive anywhere near the sunny days from at least 15 to a recent 6-7 years ago. The evil ones are attempting and/or are blocking the sun’s rays with some kind of contraption in the upper atmosphere, which accounts for all the strange sighting in the skies around the world. Blogger shiratdevorah often has verifiable videos about this. SO DO SOAK UP SAFE SUN AS MUCH AS ONE CAN!
