Seven years ago, I wrote a book on climate change called ‘Dancing on the Volcano’.
It was yet another book that never got published, despite a huge amount of time and effort that went into it.
Not only that, when I started discussing the topic on Linked In, that’s when I got permanently ‘locked out’ of the platform, something that was curiously only reversed a couple of months ago. I don’t know why they changed their minds, but I took the opportunity to try and ‘scrub’ as much info as I could off my profile and make it private.

Point is, we are now at the stage where they are using the ‘climate change’ scare to literally try to lock people out of forests and nature.
Some guy in Nova Scotia walked into a forest this week, and came out with a $28k fine:

The new policy came into effect on Aug. 5, and will remain until Oct. 15. It bans people from hiking, camping, fishing and the use of vehicles like ATVs in the woods due to the elevated wildfire risk. People are not even allowed to enter the woods. The fine for violating the ban is $25,000.
Evely’s fine includes taxes, fees, and surcharges.
“I know it’s the height of summer vacation and people want to do all the activities that we enjoy,” Houston said when the ban was announced. “But we have to stay out of the woods. It’s a small price to pay to avoid the devastation that we saw from wildfires in 2023.”

Now, I don’t know if all these wildfires are God-made or man-made.
The answer could well be: both,
When you have more seismic activity, you get more methane rising to the surface, and methane can and does spontaneously combust. That doesn’t mean that the military and deep state aren’t also doing stuff, but it does mean there are many, many, many reasons for all these fires – and 0.0002% of them are being caused by careless campers, or in our neck of the woods, ‘terrorists’.
(Unless, those ‘terrorists’ happen to work for the State.)

What I’m saying, is that buying into the unbridled hysteria about heatwaves enables our corrupt governments to get the buy-in they need to pull off more of their ‘lockdowns’ on the public.
We saw it in Covid, how they shut everything down and started handing out 5,000 nis fines for anyone who dared to visit the Kinneret.
Is that the sort of world you want to live in? The sort of ‘reality’ you want to create for yourself, and others?
If not, it’s time to start getting a grip on the hysterical thinking, the catastrophising, all the pointless ‘theorising’ and speculation – and to stop giving the Evils the buy-in they need, at grass-roots level, to make ‘walking in a forest’ punishable by a huge fine.

So, they already banned people from hiking in Israel now, blaming it on ‘the heatwave‘:
In response to the tinderbox conditions, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority extended a ban on entry to all hiking trails in national parks and reserves through Shabbos. The Israel Fire and Rescue Services have also kept a nationwide ban on open-air bonfires in place until the end of the month.

He says we are now in the last ‘warm spike’ that will probably occur for the next 400 years.
And that there is far more danger from the ‘mini ice ages’ that are part of this centuries’ long cycle, than there are from ‘global warming’.
In fact, these short periods of ‘heating’ are actually very beneficial, long term, as they stave-off ‘mini ice ages’ where it’s much harder to grow food, power your homes and stay warm and dry.
It’s the olam hafuch.
And because it’s the olam hafuch, anyone who tells the truth gets shut-up pretty fast….

We can’t stop the Evils doing what the Evils are doing – only God can do that, when He’s ready.
But you know what God is waiting for?
He’s waiting for us to stop buying into all the fearmongering BS, on whatever subject it happens to be today, and to make some real, concrete teshuva.
To make some real effort, to get over our own bad middot, and to work on the emuna that God is running everything, and what’s holding up geulah and real, positive, massive changes down here is you and me.

Our addiction to drama-queen headlines, to predictions that the ‘End is Nigh’, our laziness, our apathy, our arrogance, our control-freak tendencies, our anger, our jealousy, our vengeance, our own fallen fears….

That’s the real, and only, job we are down here to do.
Xtianity likes to try and fix ‘the world’ while the people who profess it continue to have disgusting middot.
Jews don’t work like that.
Jews understand that the ONLY way to really fix the world’s problems, is to fix ourselves first – our own bad middot.

And I am feeling pretty frustrated that so many years down the line in this process, it just feels like we’re still all stuck in a pointless ‘GroundHog Day’, in so many ways, because too many of us are still resisting the idea that the only thing we can and must change is OURSELVES.

Not a clear sentence.
There are two clauses here:
(a) more seismic activity -> more methane rising to the surface
(b) methane can and does spontaneously combust.
Does he mean that the same methane that rises to the surface due to seismic activity “methane can and does spontaneously combust”? Evidence that this has happened?
Or is he speculative connecting two things.
Under what conditions does methane spontaneously combust? Are those conditions found is methane release due to seismic activity?
Or he making up stuff?

In North America, they spray their forests with glyphosate which in turn makes the forests more flammable.
You can essentially map the likelihood of forest fires bases on where they spray this chemical (which also happens to be a carcinogen). Interestingly the only place in North America that uses traditional methods to clear fires, a.k.a. doesn’t spray their forests with glyphosate is Quebec. And surprise, this has the lowest amount of forest fires relative to its size in North America.
There have been these planes flying in the sky polluting our air with who knows what since just before Shavuot 2023 where I live in Netanya.
More recently this activity has gotten far more aggressive and we are now even seeing it our reverse osmosis water filter machine.
In the past, we would find white suit after each round. But for the past few weeks now we are seeing a lot of brown rust-like residue.
The air has also dramatically worsened where we live due to this constant bombardment of chemicals. Every time we have a few days of respite, the planes return.
The fake climate emergency is nearly upon us it seems.
Doesn’t worrying about things that we have no control over do way more damage to a person’s health than anything else?
We do whatever we do, eat as healthy as possible etc – but then, we have to let it go and stop ‘worrying’ all the time.
That’s what I’m learning for myself. I am still eating healthy as I can, got my kombucha, avoiding chemicals as much as possible – but at the end of the day, if I stress every time I see chemtrails in the sky, all that happens is that I just weakened my own immune system and lost my joie de vivre.
that puts me in a very fragile place, mentally, emotionally and also physically.
At some point, we have to accept that God is running everything here, way beyond our comprehension, and heal our souls from all the ‘worrying’ about stuff we can literally do nothing about.

You are absolutely right.
I suppose I need to let go of my sense of justice and trust the one who judges justly by learning to see even these events as somehow “good”.
It’s huge, massive work.
I am also trying to do that a lot more, because otherwise it’s getting very hard to serve God b’simcha, and with joie de vivre, if I keep worrying about all the stuff there is to worry about.
Whatever I can do, tachlis, or pray about, tachlis, I will do that with God’s help. Most of what is going on is way beyond the ability of small people to influence, except by following the Tzaddik’s instructions, and joining our prayers, teshuva and merits into the general spiritual ‘arsenal’ of Am Yisrael, being directed by the Tzaddik HaDor.
I have come to the conclusion that spending time doing much else, and especially just worrying and fretting and getting angry, is not helping the situation at all – and is certainly having a negative impact on my physical and mental health, and sense that God is good, and is in control here.
It’s a very big test.
