How ballistic missiles are meant to work (ho ho ho)
It struck me that even though we are apparently being ‘rocketed’ non-stop here in Israel, most people have absolutely no idea how these ‘rockets’ are meant to work.
Why is that important?
It’s important, because when the media tells us all ‘you just got rocketed by a short range ballistic missile called a Zolfhagar, by the Houthis’ – we need to know how that would actually look like, in reality.
Because once we know that, it’s very easy to understand something else.
Namely, the media is lying.
====
So, first watch this animated minute and a half video of how ‘ballistic missiles’ and ‘cruise missiles’ and ‘hypersonic missiles’ are apparently meant to work:
====
And now, tell me which of the above exploded in Israel a few days back, when we got ‘attacked by Yemen’, as caught in this video:
====
Questions to ask yourself:
Would a ballistic missile hover in the sky for a long time, apparently stationary?
Would a ballistic missile enter Israeli airspace with any kind of ‘horizontal’ (sideways) trajectory?
How could a short range ballistic missile, which is meant to have travelled a minimum of 700 km to get to us, which means it has to ascend 250 km vertically upwards ‘into space’, to drop down vertically into Israel – how is a ‘ballistic missile’ like that video’d travelling ‘sideways’ across our skies, slowly, for many kilometres?
====
All this is just the ‘scientific method’.
We’re just taking the accepted theory of how ‘ballistic missiles from Iran / Yemen /whoever’ are meant to work, and applying this theory to what we actually see with our own eyes, in the skies of Israel.
What conclusions do you come to?
====
They get away with all these lies, because people don’t think for themselves.
Or really, we could shorten that down to ‘don’t think’. Full stop.
So, if it’s not ballistic missiles from the Houthis, then what are we really dealing with here?
I’m sure you can come up with your own theories.
====
In the meantime, here are two links for a parabolic calculator, that will let you calculate just how high these ‘ballistic missiles’ would actually have to ascend, ‘into space’, in order to work as advertised:
https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/projectile-motion
https://www.vcalc.com/wiki/KurtHeckman/Ballistic-Flight-Parabolic-Equation
====
And here is the Wiki page with more details of the:
Zolfaghar Missile
Which is meant to have a range of 700 km.
Ho ho ho!
====
This is the official video of a THAAD missile launch intercept, from 2019.
https://www.facebook.com/dvids/videos/365728411045667/
Again, ask yourself how a system that is meant to be intercepting ballistic missiles in ‘lower space’ is launched on an angle, where the parabolic arc clearly doesn’t enable it get more than a handful of kilometres above the ground.
====
The above video is PR release from the US military, telling us all how THAAD missiles are meant to work.
You’ll notice, there are absolutely no specific references to ‘altitude’ in all of this bumpf, because once we would understand just how high up all this stuff is apparently meant to be happening, we would instantly grasp that we are being lied to.
====
On the THAAD Wiki page, I actually just now found one example of a specific altitude, from 1999:
Hit a test target in the thermosphere at an altitude of 91 mi (147 km)
Again, tell me how these missiles that we see being launched on an angle, with a very low parabolic curve, are getting anywhere near the ‘thermosphere’.
Maybe I’m missing something, feel free to point it out.
====
In the meantime, I am still sitting here waiting for world of lies to fall, one reformed naive dupe at a time.
Bezrat Hashem.

bs”d This is all so interesting. But why would anyone want us to believe we are getting rocketed by…[fill in the blank] ?
And why would anyone take the trouble to convince us that santa is on the space station? Or that there even is a space station?
When you want to set up an alternative religion that ‘worships science’, the very first thing you have to do is cast doubt on the Torah’s account of God’s creation of the world.
That’s one reason. There are many, many more. I’m sure you have some ideas yourself, Alizah.
True, and ultimately it’s often pointless to delve into the why. Evil is psychopathic and has its own motivations that normal and decent people have trouble understanding.
We can only use our discernment to ascertain whether or not a deception is going on. The why will often evade us.
As the Rav always says it is all an illusion, a slight of hand.
Rivka, could you shrink the Telegram videos, and similar ones that tend to be half-hidden, to a size that fits the left side of your screen? The sidebar is in the way, and the change would help us better view what we’re supposed to be thinking about.
There may be other ways to present these kinds of video information if this solution doesn’t work out well on all sides; I just don’t know them according to your platform.
Thanks so much in advance, and happy Zoth Hanukkah!

Thanks for believing in me, Rivka. Here’s an idea.
Does anyone remember the science fiction author Ray Bradbury (may he rest in peace)?
He wrote a story, maybe in the 70s, about a family that saved up for a trip into space–but it was still too expensive, so they bought an option to go on a very realistic virtual trip–they just emptied their bank account, maybe went into debt, just for this. Like, how can you miss a once in a lifetime…?
This seems connected to the Santa part. The space flight people could get very rich.
The ballistic part plays into people’s fears. We already know people (outside Israel) who are going nuts trying to find a safe place to go in the world. They would pay any amount of money to…maybe to an expert to give them advice, build them a bunker, rocket them to a safe colony on Mars…and what about people who pay a fortune to be frozen, hoping to be thawed when the coast is clear?
I like both of these ideas a lot.
As Shimshon says, until Moshiach actually shows up, we’re probably not going to know all the real ins and outs of WHY all this is really happening.
But it’s enough to just know we are being deceived, and to not ‘buy in’ to the story we’re being told. That all by itself means ‘the Evils’ lose their ability to control us by fear.
“Would a ballistic missile hover in the sky for a long time, apparently stationary?”
Or you could ask “Does a missile that appears to be stationary mean it’s hovering?”. Or more generally, “when is an apparently stationary object actually moving?” Note that the objects in the video are behind the clouds so they are very far away. At that distance it’s difficult to tell exactly what is happening. Certainly not with some knowledge of the mathematics & physics that underlie the study of ballistics.
” slowly, for many kilometres?”
Not clear why you think it’s moving slowly. Far away fast moving objects always appear to be moving slowly.
“Again, ask yourself how a system that is meant to be intercepting ballistic missiles in ‘lower space’ is launched on an angle, where the parabolic arc clearly doesn’t enable it get more than a handful of kilometres above the ground.”
Because the anti-missile missile doesn’t necessarily have to follow a parabolic arc.
“Would a ballistic missile enter Israeli airspace with any kind of ‘horizontal’ (sideways) trajectory?”
Any object moving in space, moves in three dimensions. Ballistic missiles by definition to not travel in a horizontal trajectory.
“which means it has to ascend 250 km vertically upwards ‘into space’, to drop down vertically into Israel ”
That’s not how ballistic missiles work. They neither ascend, nor descend vertically.
“which is meant to have travelled a minimum of 700 km to get to us”
Yemen is more than twice 700 km from us.
Please tell all us stoopid people how ballistic missiles get into ‘space’ if they aren’t launched vertically.
I have to say, this comment of yours marks a new low, for repeating stuff I wrote that just proves my point.
And as usual, it’s totally lacking any real facts or evidence, or ‘data’, just you telling me I’m ‘wrong, wrong, wrong again’.
I’m happy to post up more information here about how you believe ballistic missiles works – give me some solid information, links, papers, something, to back up your statements.
(And no, more statements from you just negating everything I write with no evidence doesn’t count as ‘solid information’.)
“Please tell all us stoopid people how ballistic missiles get into ‘space’ if they aren’t launched vertically.”
Don’t call people stupid. It’s a complicated topic than takes time to study to get the basics. Such missiles are launched at an angle, not vertically.
” it’s totally lacking any real facts”
Are you saying that it’s not a act that Yemen is more than 700 km away?
