More hints from the Rav.

Continuing the translation that we brought an excerpt of HERE.

Excerpt of shiur  26th Tishrey 5784 (October 11th, 2023) to the Mifal HaTorah.

Now, we are before a churban (destruction). We are before the churban of the Third Temple.

We are already in the [time of the] Third Temple now, and Hashem sees that there is going to be a churban.

So, He took 1,000 souls. This time, it was 1,200.

All this is Lesson I:260 [Likutey Moharan]. Because the Rebbe explains everything that is going to happen, until the end of time.

So, each time that Hashem wants that there will be a yichud (spiritual unification at a very high level), so He takes souls al kiddush Hashem (Jews who are killed in the sanctification of God’s name, just because they are Jews.)

This is the work of Hashem, that He takes souls. All this is brought down in Lesson I:260:

“The name is the soul.”

And know, that the very greatest yichud occurs with those that go al kiddush Hashem. This is the greatest spiritual unification, because they are sacrificing their very souls to sanctify God.

They put R Chanina ben Teradyon in the fire.[1]

They poured benzine on him, on Chanina ben Teradyon. They put a pad of wool [over his heart] – and the fire didn’t burn him. The fire went back.

So the centurion said to him: I don’t understand what’s going on with you. You aren’t prepared to be burned?! Dinah de malkuta – dinah! (The law of the land is the law.)

The government decreed this upon you!

He said: But, you need to ask nicely for my permission. Come and ask my permission, beseech me, then I will agree to be burned.

But stam, like this, you are just trying to burn me – I don’t agree! I want to do an hour of hitbodedut.

Me too, I am going to ascend to Heaven and I will ask if it’s really necessary to sweeten this, by way of the death of the 10 holy martyrs [or whether it’s possible to sweeten the decree without these 10 being killed.]

I want to ask Hashem.

[The centurion said to him]:

You want to ask Hashem? Wait, I’m going to ask the Caesar to give you permission.

[R’ Chanina replied:]

I don’t need the Caesar!

I know how to ascend to Heaven all by myself – the Caesar should wait for me! You will wait here for me, I am now ascending to Heaven, and I will be back in an hour.

I will tell you if you can burn me.

I am burning you, or you are burning me?! Who is burning who?! This is simply chutzpah!

It’s chutzpah from Chanina ben Teradyon, that he didn’t accept the decree with love.

Dinah de malkuta, dinah!

In the meantime, the centurion is waiting and waiting.

And he is thinking: What is going on here?! I poured benzine on him, I poured gasoline on him, I put some more twigs on him – and he wasn’t burned! He didn’t agree to be burned!

This is how it was in Ancona [? Not clear why the Rav is referring to Ancona here.]

They tried to burn, and to burn, and to burn – and they weren’t successful, until they brought the big crowds. They put lots of people in the fire, but they didn’t burn – the fire went back away from them.

There are many stories about this.

So now, also.

By him, the fire also went backwards.

After an hour, he [Chanina ben Teradyon] came back.

I asked Hashem, He said that I am obligated to be burned. This yichud [spiritual unification] has to happen. Otherwise, Am Yisrael will be ‘hidden’ now (i.e. To be obliterated, God forbid).

Now, Am Yisrael is standing ready to be annihilated.

Now I said in tehillim  “the name of Israel will not be remembered again.”[2]

Because they have have agreed [like a person] with one heart, everyone is standing ready to destroy Am Yisrael. The whole world is with them, Biden is with them, everyone is with them.

Now, Blinken came, [to say] Don’t make war with the Arabs! You will suddenly hurt some child, and also, Hamas for sure already made teshuva….

Don’t you dare.

Now he is sleeping, but an hour ago, he said don’t you dare!

Now, it’s impossible to do anything. Now, he’s not giving permission.

Let them fire rockets, let 5,000 rockets be fired every single day – you deserve it! This is a present, this is simply a gift.

Me, I already got a rocket in the head, so now my mind is ‘open’. So now, I can understand things better. It’s the opposite! It’s good that you get a rocket in your head….

So, he’s judging them favorably. All day long, he’s judging them favorably.

It’s their country! They are crying out: ‘You are robbers!’

They are saying that justice is on their side.

So, who can sweeten this?

Only Rabbenu. How can Rabbenu sweeten this? By way of arranging for people to be taken al kiddush Hashem.

That way, he can sweeten everything, so that we can continue to live, so that we can destroy them.

Because the Americans aren’t agreeing that we should be able to destroy them, chas v’shalom.

The Americans agree with them.

The Americans need them.

Some thoughts on ditching the smartphone

The Rav has been putting tremendous emphasis on tznius dressing and ditching the smartphone.

***UPDATE***

Tznius dressing, tachlis, just means tops that aren’t so tight the bra strap is visible, nor so plunging the cleavage is straight in your face, with sleeves that are long

And skirts that are ankle length.

Before the frum world got totally ‘confused’ by all the fakers in our midst that teach that ankle skirt lengths ‘aren’t tznius’, this was kind of obvious.

(Remind me another time, to tell you the story of how my kids got rejected from Beis Yaakov because the headteacher said my skirts were too long and I’d have to start covering my hair properly by wearing a wig…. Crazy.)

And for married women – to cover all of their hair.

Anyway.

This post is actually some thoughts on the smartphone, and just how so very bad it’s actually been for everyone’s mental health.

One of the advantages to being ‘cancelled’ online is that is actually means you can find more real information.

I know that sounds strange, but because I’m not being bombarded by Whatsapp etc, and I’m off lying propaganda news site, my appetite for learning new stuff is actually being channeled into way more interesting and helpful areas.

Like the ‘After Babel’ substack by Professor Jon Haidt, who has been exploring just how much damage all the smartphones have been doing to ‘Generation Z’ (and everyone else….)

Here is the post that really took my attention, yesterday:

Algorithms hijacked my generation – fear for Generation Alpha

Jon Haidt started off the substack with a lot of hard data, showing the unmistakeable correlations between being on the smartphone and having REALLY SEVERE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.

And those mental health issues have been multiplied for the ‘young minds’ that were molded by Instagram feeds and Tumblr threads.

Now, he’s been asking ‘Generation Z’ers’ to share their own experiences of being the smartphone generation – and it’s very eye-opening.

Here’s a couple of snippets from that post referenced above:

Let’s start with the young women who transform their faces. You know the ones: they have their lips injected, noses chiseled, skin blurred with Botox, and cheeks pumped with filler, each funneling their previously unique features into the sameInstagram Face.

It often happens slowly.

First, they fill their lips. Next, they need to even it out with a nose job. Then botox; then a brow lift; and it goes on.

Then one day they wake up and realize they have rearranged their entire face for Instagram. They don’t recognize their reflection. Or even like it. I’ve seen this happen a lot lately: influencers are dissolving their fillers, reversing surgeries, realizing they were beautiful before.

Molly-Mae Hague, for example, a Love Island influencer here in the UK, recently admitted to having no idea how she ended up destroying her face: “I literally looked like a different person. When I look back at pictures now, I’m terrified of myself. I’m like, ‘Who was that girl?’ I don’t know what happened.”

Thank God, neither of my kids ever got into social media.

I am literally so grateful they were saved from this scourge – and probably, at least some of the reason they don’t have social media is because neither me nor my husband have it either – or smartphones.

I’ve never heard someone say, “I still hate my mom for not letting me get a phone until I was 13.”

My suggestion: delay. Wait until high school to give them a phone. (As Jon recommends, you can give them a flip phone before that.) Wait even longer to let them have an Instagram or TikTok account.

The resentment is temporary. They’ll thank you later.

That whole substack is really interesting and highly recommended.

But the point for us ‘frum Jews’ – is what the heck happened to us, that we let all this evil tech completely take over our lives and destroy our children’s values, morals and mental health?

And not just our children’s.

I see all these be-wigged botoxed ‘ideal Jewish moms’ hanging out on Instagram etc sharing their ‘heimishe cholent recipes’, (whatever….) and I gag.

How did we let our communities get taken over by all these ‘influencers’ who are just trying to get attention or money (or both)?

How did that happen?

The real rabbis were warning about the danger of the internet for years and years and years.

They were mostly just mocked and derided for being out of touch dinosaurs – not least, by those Reform-funded ‘ortho fems’, who have put so much effort into encouraging frum women to ‘be seen on the screen’.

Yah….emancipate yourself, also get addicted to social media so you can pay a fortune on botox and spend more time with your ‘followers’ than your family….

Whatever.

And the smart phones took things up a level.

Because we take that thing with us everywhere we go….

I have lost count of the number of times I have seen parents of young children walking their kids around while totally engrossed in their phone.

Those kids must feel like a ghost, an invisible person, a non-entity.

At best.

Being ‘totally ignored’, continuously, by a parent, especially your mother, is the number one reason people develop the sort of clinical depressions that make them feel they would rather be dead than alive.

Sure, you’re not watching porn on the smartphone.

(Although the odds are high that your teenage children probably are – including the girls….)

Sure, you’re not addicted to online gambling….

And you don’t even have TikTok.

Nothing ‘bad’ like that.

Just, you spend way more time answering other people’s pointless messages, or checking in with the lying propaganda news than you do looking in your kids’ faces and actually being ‘there’ in the room with them.

Sigh.

I am hoping that we’ve already passed ‘peak smartphone’, and that going forward, there is going to be a growing wave of people smashing that thing up.

The more people get off, the more the government and companies will have to offer different options for doing things, again.

But here’s the thing:

If you’re a parent, you simply just don’t have a leg to stand on vis-a-vis your children, if you yourself have a smartphone and are using social media.

You can’t tell your teenagers a thing about not having a smartphone or not using social media without coming across as a total hypocrite.

You have to show them, tachlis, that life is possible, without the smartphone and without social media, not just talk about it.

We find that the roll-out of Facebook at a college increased symptoms of poor mental health, especially depression, and led to increased utilization of mental healthcare services.

We also find that, according to the students’ reports, the decline in mental health translated into worse academic performance. Additional evidence on mechanisms suggests the results are due to Facebook fostering unfavorable social comparisons.

(I know Facebook is old news now – but Instagram and TikTok are even worse than Facebook.)

Let’s give Jon Haidt the last word:

Instagram was founded in 2010.

The iPhone 4 was released then too—the first smartphone with a front-facing camera. In 2012 Facebook bought Instagram, and that’s the year that its user base exploded.

By 2015, it was becoming normal for 12-year-old girls to spend hours each day taking selfies, editing selfies, and posting them for friends, enemies, and strangers to comment on, while also spending hours each day scrolling through photos of other girls and fabulously wealthy female celebrities with (seemingly) vastly superior bodies and lives.

The hours girls spent each day on Instagram were taken from sleep, exercise, and time with friends and family.

What did we think would happen to them?

What indeed.

Go and smash your i-Phone.

Sure, doing that is going to help our soldiers in Gaza.

But perhaps even more importantly, it will help you get your life, mental health and soul back.

And if you won’t do it for yourself – do it for your kids.

UPDATE:

A reader sent me a link to this article, on the Epoch Times, about ‘Digital Dementia‘.

To the very long list of reasons why not to use a smartphone, we can also now add the fact that by overstimulating certain parts of the brain and understimulating others, it is causing a radical rise in what is being termed ‘digital dementia’ in older people.

There is no good reason to have a smartphone.

Switch your internet use to the computer, and get a flip phone.

It’s a big readjustment initially – it’s mamash an addiction, remember – but you’ll feel so many benefits of chucking away the smartphone, and the ‘inconvenience’ is temporary.

The more of us do it, the more ‘communication’ will have to switch back into healthier modes.

And also, it’s the fastest way to derail the ‘new world order’ plans to cage the world up even further.

May God give us all the strength to do it.

Blinken, the UN and Hevron

I decided that at the moment, I’m just going to keep posting up bits of the Rav’s translated shiurim here.

It’s part of the process of learning how to ‘think for ourselves’, that information isn’t just spoon fed to us, but that we actually have to use our brains, a little, to really ‘think into’ things more, and come to our own conclusions.

If that doesn’t suit you – that’s OK.

There are plenty of sites dishing up propaganda mush out there, feel free to stick to those instead.

As for me, I can’t really write freely about a lot of things at the moment, with all the censorship and ‘deplatforming’ going on, so going forward, and until things change for the better, I am focussing on doing these translations.

Honestly?

You will learn way more from reading them than anything the propaganda news can tell you anyway – and usually, get the ‘scoops’ way earlier….

But first, you have to re-train your mind, to re-learn the skill of ‘thinking for yourself’.

Stick with it…. the penny will drop eventually.

Excerpt of shiur  26th Tishrey 5784 (October 11th, 2023) to the Mifal HaTorah.

(The Rav begins the shiur by explaining that Yosef HaTzaddik had some hard feelings towards Yaakov Avinu, that he buried his mother Rachel by the side of the road close to Bet Lehem, instead of burying her within the city itself.

Yaakov explains to Yosef that he was doing everything al pi hadibbur – according to Hashem’s instructions, because in 3,000 years, if Rachel had been buried within the city, she would now be totally inaccessible to the Jews coming to pray at her tomb.

The shiur then discusses the burial of Yaakov Avinu himself.)

It’s written: “And he brought up with him both chariots and horsemen.”[1]

The Ramban asks[2], why did Yosef need chariots and horsemen?

When you go to bury someone, do you need chariots and horsemen?! You do the levaya (funeral). He has 12 children, OK, Binyamin was born, so now go…

There are already 12 children, what’s the worst that can happen? Together with Dina, this is 13, so this is a funeral of 12 children, with Dina. Altogether, we are talking about 14 people, together with Yaakov, at the funeral.

You don’t need ‘chariots’, you don’t need ‘horsemen’.

What’s going on, that Yosef took chariots and horsemen with him?

All this, is what the Ramban asks.

[And the explanation is:]

He says, what’s even the question?! You need to have permission from the WAQF!

It’s impossible to have buried [Rachel] in Bet Lechem, without the permission of the WAQF, or to bury Yaakov in the Me’arat HaMachpela – impossible, without the WAQF!

You need to get approval from the WAQF. What, the WAQF is going to give you permission?! Not on your life!

So, 31 kings arrived to do battle with Yaakov – why are you trying to bury him in the Me’arat HaMachpela?! It’s not yours! This belongs to us, the Me’arat HaMachpela!

There was one week when we organised a convoy of 20 cars [that would drive each night to the Me’arat HaMachpela in Hevron].

Each car had five men, the driver and next to the driver one passenger, and three in the back, this is five men.

Times 20, this is 100 men. And we came each night – this was 30 years ago.

We saw the UN, ten cars that belonged to the UN. We didn’t understand what was going on, is there going to be a war there? Who knows what was going to happen.

Now, Blinken came.

Why did he come? So that there wouldn’t be a war with the Arabs. Stop what you’re doing!!!

He doesn’t agree to something like this. OK, they killed 1,200 of your people – restrain yourselves! They killed six million – what are you going to do now, destroy Germany?

Now, Blinken came. At the end of the day, he’s a Jew – but he still didn’t reveal why he came [to Israel].

He came so that they wouldn’t enter Gaza, they are scared of going in to Gaza.

What, you’re going to destroy Gaza?! They burned 1,000 of your houses, they killed 1,200 of your children – so now, you are going to go and destroy Gaza?!

Also go and destroy Germany, they burned six million of you. It’s enough of your insanity, already.

America is a state that has ‘yishuv ha’daat’ (settled thinking). It’s not like here, Bibi is crazy, and this is madness.

This one [Biden] deos everything with ‘yishuv ha’daat’.

So an hour ago, he landed.

So, would the WAQF have given permission to bury Yaakov in the Cave of the Patriarchs?

Chas v’shalom!

Esav showed up [to fight against Yaakov being buried in the Cave], everyone came – 31 kings came.

So, the Ramban explains all of this, as to why they needed ‘chariots and horsemen’. There was mamash a war!

He said that 31 kings came, 31 armies – Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran – everyone. Everyone showed up – Egypt, Turkey – everyone came. 31 kings came.

[And they said]:

The Cave of the Patriarchs is ours, not yours! What is your business here, with the Cave of the Patriarchs?

[The Rav returns to the story of the 20 cars, above.]

So, we travelled for a whole week, from motzae Shabbat until Thursday night. And we didn’t understand why 10 UN cars were there each night.

We came with 20 cars, 100 bocherim (young men), 100 avreichim (Torah learners).

And afterwards, they told us that this same night, that same week, they were about to give the Cave of the Patriarchs to the Arabs.

The Arabs had claimed that this is ours! The Jews just conquered here stam. This place has no connection to the Jews, what do the Jews have to do with the Cave of the Patriarchs?! Here, the head of Esav is buried, here Ishmael is buried.

This is what they claimed.

So the UN came to see who was visiting the site.

That same week, there was going to be a decision at the United Nations, with UNESCO, UNWRA, whether to give the Cave of the Patriarchs to the Jews or the Arabs.

The UN decided that we won’t decide this by Soourselves…

And so, there was a miracle.

Exactly that same week, there was a decision made that the whole yeshiva was going to go [to Hevron], and we organised 20 cars, and 100 bocherim, and 100 avreichim.

And the UN saw that only Jews were coming – no Arab came at night.

They came in the morning, at 6am, the Jews already from 12am at night, to say the Tikkun Haklali, seven Tikkun Haklalis and one Tikkun Hatzot (Midnight Rectification).

So for six hours, some 100 Jews were standing there, 100 avreichim.

So the UN decided that the Cave belonged just to the Jews, and that only the Jews had the merit to control the Cave.

This was all during that same critical week.

We didn’t know anything about this – we travelled in total innocence, we travelled with temimut.

There are no pilots – hints from back in Elul

I’m just going through some of the ‘conversations’ of the Rav that I translated the last few months.

The plan is, BH, to do ‘Conversations 2’.

When I was pulling together  the original ‘Conversations’ a few years back is when my mind started to explode from all the hints and new information and eureka! moments that book contains.

In ‘Conversations 2’, there are already so many massive hints to what was going to occur straight after Simchat Torah.

Here’s a couple of snippets from shiurim of the Rav, given back in Elul, 2023.

At the time, they seemed kind of strange.

Now…. much less so.

THERE ARE NO PILOTS

So now in the reserves, there are ‘dissenters’ in the reserves. In the reserves, there are maybe a thousand ‘dissenters’, so they cancelled the enlistment law, in order for there to not be dissenters, they said let’s cancel the law of enlisting [in the army] – you are exempt from serving.

So, the yeshiva bochurs are for sure exempt from enlisting. If the pilots are exempt…

There are no pilots. The pilots are all finished, there aren’t any.

Each person needs to learn how to fly, you go and learn three lessons, immediately after Simchat Torah, you will be the leading pilot, the chief – like Ilan Ramon.

Ilan Ramon, who was the leading pilot, and he flew the last [in the squadron of planes that went to bomb the Iraqi reactor].

He said: I will fly the last, if there will be rockets – so they should use them up on me.

But they [the Iraqis] went to sleep!

That same day, they went to sleep. So the attack was at 2am. At 2am, the main commander went to sleep, it’s said.

On that same exact day! This was from shemayim. 

They didn’t fire even a single missile, not even a single shell, not even a single shot.

Ilan Rimon, he flew last. He said: I will fly last, if they fire – it should be used up on me.

But the main commander went to sleep!

He said: Give me two hours to sleep. He wanted to sleep, he deserved it, he was Shuvu Banim. Shuvu Banim teach people how to go to sleep, this is the first thing – to learn how to sleep…

Interestingly, there is more information coming out that at least some of the army bases around Gaza were attacked, and the soldiers already slaughtered there, already around 2am Simchat Torah morning.

Moving on.

Shiur given by Rav Berland after the evening prayers, Elul 15th 2023, Parshat Nitzavim-Vayelech.

“Sulfur and salt, a burning of all the land.”[1]

It’s written in the parsha that [after the destruction of the Beit HaMikdash] all of the land of Israel will be turned into sulfur.

And any Arab who tries to plough his field will encounter a mound of sulfur, and it will explode.[2]

Because sulfur explodes on the spot, like matches that ‘combust’ immediately.

And all the Arabs that try to ‘plough’ the land – seven years, they were all killed. They were all murdered.

Innocent people….pure holy souls that went up to Shemayim.

Until Serach bat Asher came, and began to dance.

And via her dancing, then everyone merited to have the complete redemption, may it be speedily in our days, Amen.

So many hints here – two months before October 7th.

That’s why it pays to really listen to what the Rav is trying to tell us, and to really try to follow his instructions to the letter.

He saw the decree, he knew what was going to happen, God forbid.

That’s probably a huge bit of why he was trying to get to Uman for Rosh Hashana 5784, no matter what it took, so he could get this decree sweetened.

And ‘they’ just didn’t let him.

At the State level.

Today Charan is Turkey.  Once this was Syria.  Every time, it changes.

It’s impossible to know what will be in another year.

On a personal note, I hit quite the ‘down’ last week.

That coincided with my last day of saying the whole book of tehillim.

I think all the pent-up grief and fear of the last 30 days just kind of descended of me.

But, it showed me how useful it was to have been busy saying tehillim for a whole month, otherwise, it could have really taken me out.

There is a lot of ‘din’ in the air still.

Not day-to-day in Jerusalem, which is mostly ‘normal’, but still v.v.v. quiet at night.

But a lot of sensitive people are picking up the ‘harsh din’ vibe again, similar to what was being felt during Sukkot 5784.

Personally, it seems to me there are more ‘birth pangs’ still required – especially for the Jews of chul, some of whom did wake up quite extraordinarily after October 7, but many of whom didn’t.

God isn’t going to give up on anyone making teshuva.

So, that probably means more scary things need to happen, to break the klipa of apathy, arrogance and assimilation so many Jews are still caught up in.

It’s still the ‘sweet’ way, or at least, the ‘sweeter’ way.

But I’m not looking forward to it.

There is no yeoush in the world

Of course, I’m writing that because I’m feeling a big wave of yeoush again.

You could basically sum it up like this:

Totally sick of having to deal with retarded people who are so stuck in the world of lies, but can’t understand just how stuck they are, because of course, they are also lying to themselves.

And totally sick of those retarded people sending me more ‘lies’ from paid disinformation artists, and then having a go at me for not believing these lies.

Yesterday, I got accused of being ‘controlled opposition’.

Because I am not worshipping at the alter of deep state journalist-spooks who keep telling us all ‘it’s the fault of Joe Biden! Nothing else to worry about in Israel itself, no-one else closer to home to investigate and arrest – it’s all just Joe Biden!!!!’

(And if not ‘Joe Biden’, then of course, it’s all just the fault of ‘Obama’….)

Do you know, I am totally ‘cancelled’ across all social media?

BH, I don’t actually use it, but a few months ago I had a fiction novel I’d written, that I wanted to see if I could actually get to sell a few copies.

So I contacted a marketing woman, who told me I’d need to create a Facebook account so I could do book ads.

I tried – but Facebook wouldn’t let me do it.

That’s when I realised that it wasn’t an ‘accident’ that my Linked In account will not let me in, no matter what I try with the password – they ‘cancelled’ me on that a couple of years ago, too, but I just didn’t realise.

So then, I asked my mother in the UK to create a Facebook account for me instead.

She made the mistake of using my real phone number.

They not only blocked the new account – they also deleted my mother off Facebook, too.

People like me get my computer and blog hacked on a regular basis.

(By the same people who apparently had no idea that 5,000 Hamas terrorists with i-Phones streaming live and hackable bodycameras were crossing the Gaza border on October 7th.)

We get our emails ‘surveilled’ and many of them also go missing.

My phone calls break up most of the time – and often, just when I’m talking about something ‘interesting’.

Right now, I seem to have ‘lost’ the two articles I wrote about fake nukes and fake intercontinental missiles from the secret back-up site I made of the old blog.

(My friend just found them on the webarchive, though, HERE and HERE.)

No-one is lining up to offer me a column, or podcast, or give me a ‘prize for journalism’.

Maybe, if I switched away from writing real stuff about how satanists are controlling all of politics and media and playing everyone for fools, and switched into giving analysis that ‘everything is Joe Biden’s fault’, my career would improve….

But in the meantime, I have a lot of yeoush about just how dumb and gullible so many people apparently still are.

A story

Once, there was a very evil man who wanted to take over the world and kill and enslave all the Jews.

His name was Lavan Ha’Arami.

When Lavan was getting on and about to die, he called his son Bilaam to come and have a chat.

And if the Jews are still sticking to God and their Torah, it’s going to be impossible for us to take over the whole world and turn them into devil-worshipping scummers….

Strange stories

Something pretty weird is going on with the ‘media coverage’ in Gaza at the moment.

Long story short….. it’s not going ‘to plan’ – at least, the plan of the evils who sat down and planned how this war was meant to happen and progress a longgggg time ago already.

In a mo, I just want to ‘unpick’ a couple of stories that have taken my eye, in the interests of demonstrating how to take these stories apart yourself, so you can how we are being played and manipulated and lied to.

But also, so it gets easier to spot the small nuggets of ‘true information’, that turn up when you start to get good at dismantling the lies.

But first…. this.

From the Israeli satire show (that I usually hate….) called ‘Eretz Nederet’, where they are taking the woke university crowd on:

After mulling this over for a few hours, I came to the conclusion that going over these lying stories is probably not so useful, at this point.

“Like Rav Natan says, the main revelation of truth will be in the End of Days.

The falsehood will be spread in the world until it reaches its satisfaction, until there are almost no more people left that it needs to conquer.

There won’t be any space for a point of truth. Then, specifically, will ‘the lips of truth be established’, through the sheker being increased very much. When there’s more and more sheker, that’s when the truth will be established.

The falsehood will be spread in the world until it reaches its satisfaction, until there are almost no more people left that it needs to conquer.

More hints from the Rav

So, when a person doesn’t pray, and doesn’t recite tehillim, this is mamash cruelty, because they are causing soldiers to die, and that there will be more suffering, and more suffering. [God forbid].

Always in Germany [at the time of WW2], they said ‘this is the last tragedy’. In 1933, the [harsh] decrees began. In 1939, on September 1, they already invaded – it was the 17th of Elul. They invaded Romania.

And by Sukkot, they’d already conquered the whole of Poland.
