Alive and kicking
The last few weeks have been very challenging, internally.
Everything is great, BH, but I’ve been having massive fights with my yetzers, and also my eyes went funny from all the stress and overwhelm of the last few months, in a million different ways, so I’ve been trying to stay offline a lot more.
Which is helpful, in terms of giving my eyes, and brain, a rest, but a little unhelpful in how much I kind of feel ‘out of it’ at the moment.
It’s a real toss-up, between ego and soul, because the soul is literally sickened by all the fake news, stoopid ‘opinions’, bad middot, worrying prognostics going on.
But the ego is jumping up and down, and also wants to share more stoopid opinions, and to feel ‘part of it all’, whatever that actually means.

I am trying to figure a few more things out, internally, about what God really wants here.
And until I have more clarity, I haven’t had the motivation, or honestly, the time, to do much on the blog.
Bottom line, I blog because I hope it’s useful spiritually in some way.
I don’t want to blog from a place of where it’s just an ‘ego-fest’ where I get to share stoopid opinions, loudly, to try and obscure the big hole in my offline ‘real life’.
It’s not so simple, trying to understand where I’m really coming from at the moment, and with all the pointless ‘noise’ whirring away online, I don’t want to pointlessly add more to it.

And at least, we no longer live in a world where haircuts like this were de rigeur, so that’s at least one reason to be cheerful:

Rest assured there are more people then you think reading your articles….it’s alot of info to take in….very crucial information….I am at aw to how much you get done….it has us scrambling also to check out things ourselves….ofcourse take breathers when needed, but know that you are a true breslev lifeline…good work…!!!
