If you start today (August 15, 2025), the 40th day falls out on the 2nd day of Rosh Hashana.
That’s why I rushed to get this up now.

bs”d. OUCH. Had been saying the 7 TKs every day for longer than 40 days, and Friday, not having seen this post, decided to take a break. Then said 3 on Friday night and another 3 or 4 on Saturday. All mixed up now. Thanks for posting this, Rivka.
I have a similar question (or more), but I haven’t been saying the 7 TKs as long as Alizah, or as consistently. I’ve been saying them since I found out that the Rav had left the country and we didn’t know yet, to where he had gone. I figured that he needed them to help him to physically get to Uman this coming Rosh haShana, so I’ve been saying at least 3 per night, mostly 4s and 7s, since then.
And, what about the PNs? Are we meant to be saying 7 TKs and a PN on Shabbat? I’ve been in 3 Tehillim groups since 2020; one of them broke up probably 6 months ago, and one of the others is a local (to me) Breslev group. It and another group praying for the US “freedom warriors” have assignments on Shabbat, and I’m still doing assignments given to me back then.
Until now I’ve been doing only 1 PN on Shabbat for the Rav.

What are ‘freedom warriors?’ The rav himself said this. Kol hakavod for whatever yoh manage to do.

If I remember correctly, they were also praying for Dr. Zelenko, ztz”l, and that’s what attracted me.
From my perspective: Freedom warriors, in addition to the above, whether Jewish or not, are pro-Jewish and pro-Israel, anti- the whole Covid scam and other things like it (we just stopped praying for one who had a big part to play in an anti-Israel protest in Australia, and we have taken a number of others off for similar reasons over the last few years), doctors, lawyers and other professionals who are fighting the trend of authoritarianism and trends like it.
As long as members keep the tehillim rolling, we can post suggestions as they come up, for people to pray for. If we catch them violating our standard deliberately and consistently, they get taken off the list.
