This is a bit of a ‘flurry’ of stuff going up at the mo.

For a few different reasons, including that I came back from Rashbi with a lot of energy, BH. And also, that I decided to try and translate almost a whole shiur of the Rav, so that more people can actually understand the depth and breadth of the Torah learning and knowledge going on here.

I tend to just translate the ‘low hanging fruit’ from the Rav’s shiurim, because that’s the easiest stuff for me to do, and it’s usually related to current affairs.

But I’m starting to realise that it’s good to translate more of the true richness of the Rav’s shiurim, and to stop thinking that most people are too dumb to grasp it.

That’s probably true for some people out there, and I guess they’ll either persevere, or give up and go elsewhere.

But most of the people who are regularly visiting this blog are actually pretty darned clever, Baruch Hashem.

And now more of my own arrogance is starting to dissolve a bit, I can see that it’s better to just put out as much as possible, and to stop worrying about ‘explaining’ what the Rav is saying (like I even know…) or trying to ‘dumb things down’ to make it more accessible.

Things are plenty ‘dumb enough’, online, without me adding to it.

And each person will take their own ‘gems’ away from the Rav’s words, in their own unique way.

Before you read the first section, below, this is a comment the Hava just put up in the comments on THIS post:

Here’s an interesting comment from another blog about the failed State:

” Anonymous Anonymous said…

Northern leaders announce communities will secede from Israel on Independence Day
https://www.newsrael.com/posts/35v9vhar7qt

As 80,000 Israelis are still displaced from their homes with no information about when they can expect to return, frustration among northern residents is growing, with some leaders seeking to break away from the State of Israel altogether.

Moshe Davidovitch, head of the Mateh Asher Regional Council and chair of the Confrontation Line Forum declared, “The soul of the public in the north has been torn apart by the lack of action.”

He added, “From now on, we will stop listening to the government; we will run as an independent country and act independently without a state.””

==

This could be how Israel really fails, if the perimeter secedes on all sides — or maybe most.

We will really need Mashiah then, if we didn’t think we really needed him now, never mind the 200-years-from-now statement. The blog is the End of Days/Years of Awe, at the moment I posted, the last comment: https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?postID=5146033157378287896&blogID=10578166&isPopup=false&page=2

I myself have had the idea that secession might be the way parts of the country could defend themselves against attack without government interference, but I didn’t dare say so, to my chagrin.

====

And now, read this, the first part of the shiur from the Rav:

Excerpt of a shiur given by the Rav on 28th Nissan, 5784, after the Ma’ariv prayers:

They said that I was Moshiach, and that I will reveal myself on Purim.

In the end [text is missing in the newsletter] with the tikshoret (communication / speaker system), I don’t know what.

I didn’t reveal myself.

Now, they are still makpidim against me (holding a grudge, judging harshly) because of this. They aren’t forgiving me.

It was publicised that they should come with tattoos, they should come with nose rings, they should come with earrings – nobody came.

This was a very big mashber (‘shattering’, breaking).

It was also a mashber for me.

And I ask for forgiveness, that I didn’t reveal myself.

And there will be a wait for another 200 years.

The Gaon said that the Moshiach will come, really, in another 200. Only in another 200.

Only at the end of the 6,000.

==

We have another 200 years to learn the parsha, to finish eight pages of gemara every day.

A long [Shabbat] day like this, 5.30 is netz, 19.30 is shkia, and in the month of Sivan, it’s already going to be six minutes to 20.00. [Shabbat] will be 14 and a half hours, and there’s what to do, there’s what to learn.

==

You can’t learn Gemara? So learn the parsha! Read the parsha with the ‘Kli Yakar’, with Rashi. Each person should sit with their wife, and read the parsha.

We need to know the parsha, why Nadav and Avihu were burnt, what’s the explanation, that they said Moshe and Aharon should die, already?

Even Datan and Aviram didn’t say this.

==

Datan and Aviram said [to Moshe and Aharon] why are you so arrogant?

You took all the jobs, all the portfolios, for yourselves! Defense Minister, and ‘Kehuna’ Minister, and Justice Minister. Each of you has 10 portfolios in their hands. Stop this!

There are 250 men, and they want you to distribute the portfolios to them!

There will be 250 portfolios – the ‘Jerusalem Minister’, and the ‘Meron Minister’, and this one will be the ‘Tsfat Minister’. And this one will be the Minister of Tiveria, and there will be a Minister of Eilat, and a Minister of the Negev, and Minister of the Galilee.

==

And this one will be the ‘Minister of the Coffee Shop’, and that one will be the ‘Minister of the discotheques’, and there will be a ‘Minister of the Supermarkets’

It’s possible to create 250 ‘ministers’, this is not going to be a problem. Each person will get 50,000 shekels a month.

So, 250 men came, we also want a portfolio, what, don’t we deserve it?!

But they didn’t say they should die.

They didn’t say to Moshe: Die, already! It’s enough! Enough!

[Instead], they said: We want a portfolio, we went to be a part of the government, and a Member of the Knesset.

And “why do you exalt yourselves over the congregation of Hashem?”[1]

You took all the portfolios! Leave some for other people, so they’ll look at you with a favorable eye!

==

So, at the end of the day, Datan and Avraham wanted a tik (portfolio)[2].

A tik (fil) with the police, a tik (briefcase) in Gaza, a tik Rafiach, a tik in Khan Younis – each person will recieve a tik. Each person will get a tik.

==

You want to eat some food?

Go to Gaza – there, it’s possible to eat all the food.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

Ribonu shel Olam, Who can do anything.

Give us the merit on Yom HaZicharon to be associated with all the souls that were sacrificed for kiddush Hashem (to sanctify Hashem’s name), from 5708, which is around 76 years ago, who died on behalf of their brothers, the Children of Yisrael.

And who were murdered only and solely because they were Jews, and who sacrificed themselves to defend the Land, and their People, and their Torah, and their birthright.

“I have come to the Land that Hashem, your God, gives you.”[1]

“A land flowing with milk and honey.”[2]

“[In order to prolong your days and the days of your children upon the Land that Hashem has sworn to your forefathers to give them,] like the days of the heavens over the earth.”[3]

==

And I know, truly, that I am directly responsible for their deaths, because I didn’t keep the holy Torah, and it’s mitzvot, as per halacha, and I went after the evil remnants of my heart.

“[And it will be that when he hears the words of this imprecation, he will bless himself in his heart, saying, ‘Peace will be with me, though I walk as my heart sees fit’] – thereby adding the watered upon the thirsty.”[4]

And I added on from one day to the next, and from hour to hour, and from second to second, sin upon transgression.

And the mistakes were transformed into maliciousness, and the maliciousness became a rebellion.

==

Answer, please Hashem.

Give me the merit on this holy and awesome day, and provide atonement, please for me, and for all of Your people, the House of Israel, for the transgressions and the rebellions that I have sinned, performed and transgressed before You.

And may it arise before You, on this Memorial Day, the remembrance of all the souls that were sacrificed and burnt for kiddush Hashem.

For the honor of Your Name.

==

And in their merit, forgive us for all of our sins and transgressions and rebellions, that we have transgressed before you, whether by accident, or whether deliberately.

And we now truly and forever accept upon ourselves malchut shemayim (the rule of Heaven).

And we will make true teshuva for all of our sins, whether in this incarnation, or whether from other reincarnations.

To make real teshuva, and to not return to our bad ways ever again.

And in the merit of this, Moshiach Tzidkanu should be revealed to us, and should be revealed mamash soon.

And he should reveal to us all the secrets of the Torah, in completeness.

The ‘remembrance’ of the world to come.

When I heard last week the failed State was closing down Meron again for L’ag B’omer, I told my husband: we need to get there ASAP.

So motzash, straight after havdalah, we got in the car and headed North.

Before we left, I asked one of my kids if anything is meant to be going on up North, at the moment, as I’m basically ignoring the ‘news’.  She told me, Ima, they fired 150 rockets at Har Meron, they are having azekot all the time.

==

Does it strike anyone else as strange, that there are massive cities right next to Meron, like Karmiel, like Tsfat, and yet ‘Hezbollah’ has made Mt Meron it’s main focus?

Sure, there’s that army base, ahem, on the top of the mountain, but there are no more than 2,000 people living in the yishuv itself, and the Zion itself is pretty quiet at the moment.

It’s kind of a strange target for ‘Hezbollah’ to be focussing so much fire power on.

Two weeks before L’ag B’omer, when our failed State is looking for yet another excuse to close RASHBI down.

(I’m sure that’s just a CO-INC-ID-ENCE).

====

So, we got in the car and headed north.

As it’s the Omer, I’d downloaded a bunch of the latest Rav Elmaliach shiurim for us to listen to.

Now that I’ve got used to his style of speaking, I have to say the level of his Torah scholarship is superb. He brings sources from all over the place, and he manages to describe even very complicated kabbalistic ideas in a way that are at least partially understandable.

(For people like me, who don’t know a lot of kabbalah. My husband knows a lot more, and he’s getting a lot out of these shiurim, some of which he then has to explain to me.)

==

It was all really solid Torah stuff, and very impressive scholarship.

I thought to myself, how can anyone hear these shiurim, and not understand that the Torah discussions around the Rav are just on a totally different level than the crud being served up online, especially in the Anglo world?

I guess it’s part of the ‘hester panim’, where the truth is being hidden in front of people’s faces, and the main barrier to accessing it is a person’s own arrogance and bad middot.

==

So, we get to the Rashbi.

It’s pretty quiet there, for a motzash two weeks ahead of L’ag B’omer, but the ‘feeling’ there was the nicest it’s been in years and years.

For the first time since the failed State murdered 45 people in 2021, I actually just felt a happy, calm, joyous vibe there.

I said my three Tikkun HaKlalis, then we started the drive back home.

The North was totally calm, and didn’t feel ‘scary’ at all.

====

We stopped at the main gas station on Route Six, to get coffees and some petrol.

As we’re filling up, a chareidi man comes over to my husband, and asks him if he can get a lift to Jerusalem with us.

He’s one of the ‘evacuees’ from the Northern border, he’s been living in a hotel in Jerusalem for the last seven months, because all they hear where he lives is ‘booms’.

We were in the middle of listening to Rav Elmaliach’s shiurim, and I wasn’t going to turn it off just to give someone a tremp.

But I figured to myself, R Elmaliach is just talking Torah, it’s OK, the guy will manage.

====

Dear reader, within a minute of the hitchhiker buckling his seat belt, Rav Elmaliach was singing:

Yehi Melech HaMoshiach, HaRav Eliezer Berland, shlita.

He was describing what had actually ‘gone wrong’ on that famous Purim night, when there was meant to be a big revelation of the Rav as MBD, with 250 tattooed drug addicts from Tel Aviv.

Except…. there was so much push-back from certain elements of the Shuvu Banim kehilla that R Elmaliach ended up cancelling the party that was meant to have happened…. and then the open ‘revelation’ apparently also got cancelled.

(More on this in a moment.)

==

So all of a sudden, we’re sitting in a car where R Elmaliach is ‘re-enacting’ the singing, and what was meant to have happened at 8.55pm that Purim night.

And it was kind of embarrassing.

I personally really don’t like that ‘yehi’ song, just because I associate it so much with Chabad and the Rebbe, and all the poisonous, misleading stuff that is still going on about him being ‘MBD’.

I was sitting in the back, so I just pretended to be asleep.

My husband was driving, so he couldn’t pull the same stunt.

We were both trying very hard not to laugh.

====

The poor guy!

He signed up for a lift with a relatively normal couple of frummers, and now, he’s worrying he got kidnapped by a couple of crazy Breslov mesichistim….

Tov.

The rest of the trip, Rav Elmaliach is describing what went down that Purim night, including more snippets of singing the ‘yehi’ song, that the Rav had instructed him to only begin at 8.55pm.

Except, the guy with the sound system totally disappeared, so what happened, happened.

====

Then, R Elmaliach was talking about how everyone came after him, post-Purim, accusing him of all sorts of things.

He said he cried so many bitter tears in the mikva in Hevron, the water rose by 30cm.

But this week, after six weeks of radio silence, the Rav finally said something publically about what happened then.

Rav Elmaliach quoted him word for word, but the following also appeared in the Shivivei Or Newsletter 359, and I was planning to translate it anyway, this week.

====

====

Again, this is what the Rav himself said openly, from the balcony, after the evening prayers last week.

Rav Elmaliach has just been giving over ‘hidden messages’ from the Rav the last few months.

He’s not doing anything under his own steam, or from his own ‘ideas’.

At least that’s starting to become more obvious now.

I have a lot more stuff to translate from the Rav this week, BH, but in the meantime, let’s get back to the hitchhiker.

====

So, he’s sitting there, saying nothing, as all this strange information about Rav Berland revealing himself as MBD / not revealing himself is being discussed.

He’s hearing all about the 250 tattooed drug addicts that actually were ready to come – someone called Keren Mor actually organised a whole group and they were ready to come.

But then, the people within Shuvu who appear to not have as much real emunat tzaddikim as they perhaps pretend put an end to that whole request of the Rav.

And every now and then, Rav Elmaliach breaks out into another demonstration of ‘yehi Melech HaMoshiach HaRav Eliezer Berland, shlita’.

====

The minute we get to Jerusalem, he asked to be dropped by the next bus stop.

He was really nice about it. You helped me so much, thanks so much. I think I just need to get a bus from here to Talpiyot…

It was 2am.

====

As soon as we pulled away, me and my husband started laughing hysterically.

I giggled for half an hour straight, and I am still laughing as I type this.

Of course, we looked like totally crazy, whacked out Breslov mesichists!

Of course.

And all of the amazing Torah that Rav Elmaliach had been given over for 3 1/2 hours before we got to that particular shiur – this guy didn’t hear a word of it.

No wonder he ran away as fast as his legs could carry him.

====

I realised, that from now on I am taking the ‘high road’ with the debate of the Rav being MBD.

I am not wasting any more time with people who are going directly against Torah sources about who Moshiach is.

No politician, former spook, dead guy fits the bill – at all.

The people pushing these candidates just don’t know the Torah sources, and there is no point arguing with them.

====

Then, there are other people who have ‘their own candidate’ for Moshiach, who isn’t in one of the categories above.

And if ‘their own candidate’ is an orthodox Rabbi who is still alive, with some sort of track record with bringing people back to observant Judaism, who doesn’t teach obvious heresy, and who is widely reviled by the general public, obvious suffering on behalf of Am Yisrael, and being continuously persecuted by the secular authorities – then good luck to them! They are welcome to think that person is a hezkat Moshiach, even if it’s not Rav Berland.

I have totally no problem with that, none of us know where all this heading, until we finally get there.

====

And then, there are the bitter, cynical people who even though they wear a kippah on their heads, or are ‘super-duper-frum’, really, they don’t believe in anyone being Moshiach.

For these people, ‘redemption’ is a myth, a daydream.

They experience that in their own lives, due to their own lack of emuna, arrogance and bad middot, and then they graft their personal experience onto the national psyche.

And I’ve realised there is just no point engaging with people in this category either.

I don’t need to drown my emuna in God’s goodness, my emunat tzaddikim, in their bitter pool of cynicism and despair. This process is tough enough as it is.

====

So going forward – I am not commenting on anyone else’s fake moshiach.

I am sticking to sharing the Rav’s words and light – and prayers.

And if you don’t like that, you are welcome to leave the vehicle at the next bus stop.

I promise I won’t hold it against you.

Last Wednesday, I had one of those oh-so-rare days, were there was nothing pressing to do with myself.

I decided to go and walk around downtown Jerusalem for a couple of hours, something I used to do very often, but now I haven’t done it for months and months.

Because it’s kind of depressing.

So many shops have closed… So many ‘gaps’ on the high street… Sometimes, such a sense of quiet desperation, from the people walk around and the shopkeepers who are still going.

But Mahane Yehuda still has some ‘buzz’, some of the time. So I started there, and then walked up Yaffo Street.

==

I was sitting having a bowl of soup on the pavement, under one of the big umbrellas the soup place set up over a couple of tables, when a young woman dressed all in black passed by.

She stopped, fumbled in her pocket and gave me something to read:

It was a prayer from the Rav, entitled ‘The Secret of Contentment’.

==

==

How do I know it was a prayer from the Rav?

Because I chased after the young woman to ask her who the ‘anonymous Rabbi’ who’d written it was.

==

Here’s what it says:

Ribonu shel olam, Who can do anything.

Give me the merit of always being happy with my lot.

And only this is the ‘true wealth’.

And I shouldn’t fall into poverty, chas v’shalom, because there is no ‘poverty’ except in da’at (spiritual understanding).

And every ‘feeling’ of poverty is kefira in the kindess of Hashem, because a person isn’t happy with their lot.

==

And so, it’s a mitzvah to be happy, always, in each and every single situation, without a second’s break.

And even in situations that seem ‘bad’, this is always the best it could be, because “Hashem is good to all, and His rachmanus is upon all His creations’.”

And Hashem never does ‘bad’ things to us, because a good and merciful Father only benefits His children.

And even when they are given a ‘punishment’, this is only from an abundance of mercy, to raise them up onto the ‘derech HaMelech’ (the path of the King.)

==

Ribonu shel olam, Who can do anything.

Give us the merit to always know that You only do good with us.

And that we shouldn’t fall into kefira, chas v’shalom, and [instead] just thank You, for each and every breath, and each and every movement, and for each and every minute, and each and every second that we’re alive and breathing – us, our wives, our sons and daughters, and our grandsons and grand-daughters.

==

Answer, Hashem, take us out from this character trait of being a cry-baby (i.e. Whining and complaining), that we’re always crying for nothing, over things that have no substance, whose ‘roots’ is only complete goodness.

And even if we don’t see this ‘goodness’ – truly, it’s just only good.

Because You are only good, and do good to everyone.

==

Wow, what a prayer to get thrust into your hands as you eat a bowl of soup on Yaffo Street, feeling a big down about ‘the matzav’.

This happened last Wednesday, but this is the first day I’ve really had the time to sit and translate it properly, as I’m having another break from the evil internet, where I can actually contemplate life, a little, and not just stress myself out with one ‘nervous reaction’ after another.

==

Dear readers, if you aren’t already, I can’t underline just how very good it is for the soul to spend a few days totally unplugged from the internet.

I know if you have a smartphone, it’s much, much harder to ‘break free’ – you have to either switch to a kosher phone, or leave your phone behind.

But the benefits are enormous.

I literally can feel all the stress dissolving, because instead of wasting hours and hours reading rubbish online written by mentally-ill people (at best….) – I could actually do a whole bunch of things that were just good for my soul today, pro-actively.

==

I went and did some more weeding in the garden.

I planted a couple more flowers. In the process of doing this, I made even more peace with my downstairs neighbor, and even went out of my way to give her a trowel and pruning scissors to borrow, so she can also feel like she’s got a ‘part’ in the garden.

==

Straight after I did that, a beautiful brown dove came and walked right next to me on my mirpeset, while I was eating a sandwich.

And because I was in ‘slowed down’ mode today, I could a) notice and b) really enjoy it and c) even take some time to ponder what it meant.

I decided it’s a ‘dove of peace’ – because the real peace in the Middle East boils down to each of us making peace with those Jews who are so different from us, and who we don’t like very much.

(Easier said than done, of course. Way easier said than done.)

==

So.

Whatever ‘the madness’ is meant to be this week, yes Rafah, no Rafah, yes hostages back, no hostages back, yes ‘massive antisemitism’ in chul, no ‘massive antisemitism’ in chul, yes ‘St Pollard’ / ‘St Bibi’ are ‘MBY’, or no, a dead guy is DEFINITELY not ‘MBD’ – yadayadayada – turn it off, and do something good for your soul instead.

Appreciate all the true beauty that each of us still has in our lives, even if it’s just being able to take one more breath, or scratch one more itch.

God loves us so much.

==

I know this stage is hard going.

I know the uncertainty and the confusion is very hard to deal with – and the worry and the anxiety that will probably accompany the ‘clarity’, when it starts to come in more.

We are heading for a massive war, beginning Elul 25th, that is going to take Uman off the table, last through Rosh Hashana, and only going to end Simchat Torah 5785.

This is the message from the Rav, via Rav Elmaliach, that was given out three months ago, already, around Purim Katan.

And Moshiach is only going to be fully revealed after Elul 25th some time, even though there will be more ‘hidden’ revelations of the next stage of ‘Moshiach’s soul’ occurring again on both Shavuot and Tisha B’Av.

==

When that war begins, on Elul 25, 5784, (September 28, 2024) it’s first going to appear that the Jewish people are totally stuffed.

But then, Hashem and the Moshiach are going to fight on our behalf, not the IDF, not ‘St Bibi’ or ‘St Pollard’. It’s going to be supernatural. And there will also be truly enormous earthquakes occurring all over the world, as Hashem grabs hold of the four corners, and shakes hard.

This is what the True Tzaddikim of the generation, with real ruach hakodesh, are telling us, not just bloggers or ‘commentators’ who can read Kol HaTor or the Zohar and then make some nice guesses.

==

One of the commentators wanted to know what ‘warnings’ have there been, recently, about the world being destroyed?

Back in October 2017, R’ Aharon Stern came to Shuvu to give some chizzuk – and some information, about the next stage of the geula process.

He’s the son of the famous kabbalist from Bnei Brak, R Chaim Dovid Stern, and he used to be the shamash of the late Rav Yehuda Zev Liebowicz, z’tl, the ‘head of the Lamed Vavnikim’ when he was alive.

Here are some snippets, but remember, this is from SEVEN years ago, already.

==

[Rav Stern said:]

“WE ARE CURRENTLY IN A PERIOD OF TIME SIMILAR TO THAT WHICH OCCURRED BEFORE THE HOLOCAUST, BUT IN REALITY WE HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR, INASMUCH AS WE ARE SHELTERED UNDER THE TALLIT (PRAYER SHAWL) OF MORANU RAV BERLAND, SHLITA.

“But even so, I’m coming to warn you. As Rav Shach, z”tl, once said, who can promise you that another holocaust won’t happen?

I experienced the awesome gathering that occurred [behind the scenes] during the second Gulf War, when the Tzaddikim gathered together. The tzaddik Rabbi Avraham, z”tl, and the holy Rav Kopolovitz, z”tl, together with my master and father Rav Stern, shlita, came to Rav Leibowitz, z”tl, and told him ‘come, let us turn this war into the war [before the coming] of Moshiach!’

“Rav Leibowitz, z”tl, asked them: ‘Were you in the holocaust?! What are you talking about! Did you see the world shake?! I saw the world shake! I won’t let the Moshiach come if it will involve even a single hair on a Jewish head being harmed.’”

THE SALVATION OF AM YISRAEL WILL BEGIN ON THE 25TH OF ELUL

Rav Stern continued:

“It gives me great sorrow that my father is so ill that he can’t come to this gathering himself, and that the Samech Mem (dark side forces) are preventing the Tzaddikim from meeting. But when I came here, I met Moranu Rav Berland, shlita, and he said to me:

‘RAV STERN, DON’T WORRY! EVERYTHING IS ON MY SHOULDERS. FROM THE 25TH OF ELUL, MOTZAE SHABBAT, YOU’RE GOING TO SEE THE BEGINNING OF THE SALVATION OF AM YISRAEL!’

====

There’s that date again – from seven years ago.

Then, Rav Stern said:

Before his death, Rav Leibowitz ordered me to make the following announcement about America, so I repeat this every opportunity I get.

He told me that the anti-Semitism in the United States is only going to continue to grow, until it gets to the point where the Jews will be forced to flee.

We can also see how the forces of nature are going crazy there, and this is because we see how the people there are overturning everything, and no longer know who is their abba and who is their ima….

“The same is true in Tel Aviv, which is why Rav Leibowitz told me:

‘YOU SHOULD KNOW, TEL AVIV WILL BE DESTROYED.’

==

Moranu Rav Berland, shlita, is fighting against the head of the snake, in direct combat.

Rav Berland is gouging out its eyes, and he’s taking upon himself all our troubles. I heard from my teacher and father, shlita, who told me: ‘I’m scared… I don’t know how Rav Berland is doing this!

There is no other rabbi in Israel, there is no other rosh yeshiva in Israel, there is no other rebbe or admor in Israel who knows how Rav Berland, shlita, is able to fight this war, and to fight against the head of the snake itself,” concluded Rav Aharon Stern.

====

There used to be a video up on Youtube, for years, where you could hear Rav Stern saying all this with your own ears, in Hebrew.

But the cholkim managed to get it taken offline, recently, with false copyright claims.

That’s part of why all this is getting harder and harder, for the people who are ‘new’ to this sugya, because so much of the evidence, the proof, the information, is being ‘disappeared’.

====

(There’s still a lot of the words of our true kabbalists and rabbis ‘captured’ in OIAG II, tho. You can download the PDF HERE, or get a hardcopy on Amazon HERE.)

==

If you go HERE, you’ll find a post from July 2018 – six years ago – when the Rav said this:

At the end, Hashem is going to shake off all the rashaim (evildoers). He’s going to turn everything over, and prevent the evildoers from seeing the daylight, and the deceitful limbs [He will] break.

====

It’s a whole post talking about ‘moving stars’, and natural disasters.

Here’s one of the footnotes from that post:

The Rav was referring to many of the concepts found in both the book of Iyov (Job) and in the Gemara, in his remarks on the constellations and stars.

For example, “‘Ash” or “‘Ayish” is mentioned twice in Job, and has been identified with the Great Bear. The Gemara in Brachot 58b says: “But for the heat of Kesil, the world could not endure, on account of the excessive cold of Kimah, and vice versa.”….

Elsewhere, the Gemara explains how the stars Kimah and Kesil are directly related to the mabbul, which came about when God took two stars from one constellation and moved them to another, leading to Noah’s flood.

====

This is another way of referring to the ‘magnetic star’ that Rav Elmaliach talks about, which is going to cause the enormous natural disasters, including earthquakes that are off the charts.

Really, for people who have been following the Rav’s hints for years, there is very little that’s ‘new’ in all this, it’s just a matter of timing.

====

In Sichos HaRan (translated into English as ‘Rebbe Nachman’s Wisdom’, by the Breslov Research Institute), Rebbe Nachman tells us the following:

“It’s written about the time of Moshiach (Job 38:13): ‘To grasp the ends of the earth and shake the wicked from it’. However, one who comes close to a true Tzaddik, [he] can grab hold of him, and not be cast off.

When we hold on to the Tzaddik, we can stay firm.”

====

That is how we get through the next few months with our sanity intact, no matter where we happen to live in the world.

We hold on to the Tzaddik.

And if you think that this means holding on to St Pollard, St Bibi, or some dead guy in Queens…. then Hashem should have mercy on you.

==

We aren’t living in simple times, not at all, and it is scary.

Even for me.

==

But in the meantime…. Every day life, offline, is so good.

And there are still five more months to make some real teshuva, and to get with the Rav, and under his protection.

So, there is no despair in the world!

And every breath we take is cause enough for us to happy and grateful.

(Or at least, it should be. When we work on our middot enough to actually get to that stage.)

And there is plenty of room still, under the Rav’s spiritual tallit.

Just don’t leave it too late.

YOU CAN DONATE TO GET THE LAST 60%  OF THE RAV’S TORAH SCROLL WRITTEN, THE SOLDIERS ‘PROTECTED’ AND THE WAR FINISHED.

A parchment (20,000 nis)
A page (5,000 nis)
Anything smaller

I just wrote a whole long thing here about the Rav’s Torah, but it disappeared….

***Donation links fixed now***

OK, let’s try again.

Long story short, the Rav’s Torah that is going to stop the war, and that is being written in the merit of protecting the soldiers still needs a big boost, to get finished.

They raised 40% of what’s required, and they did a siyum today for Sefer Bereishit, but there is still 60% to go.

20,000 ($5,500) pays for a section of Torah parchment – and get your names inscribed in the Rav’s personal Torah scroll.

5,000 pays for a page.

Specify it’s for the Rav’s Torah Scroll in the comment box.

And I apologise for all the miniot around this – just goes to show what a big deal it is, spiritually.

==

BUT – you can also donate smaller amounts, and you can also donate something bigger in staged payments if you want.

It all helps.

It’s all needed.

====

People in Israel, especially parents with kids in the IDF, are literally starting to crack from all the stress and worry, that they will be the next ones to get the ‘knock on the door’, God forbid.

Some of these mothers haven’t slept for six months….

And the war is just going on and on and on.

We need so much rachamim to get this war finished, with no more Jewish blood spilt.

====

So, please gird your loins, and do your bit to get the war finished.

It all boils down to emunat Tzaddikim, and ‘damim‘ instead of ‘dam’ – money instead of blood.

May we just hear good news.

There was a siyum today by the Rav, for the completion of ‘Sefer Bereishit’ of his personal Torah.

If you remember from THIS post, back in January already  (!) the Rav said that when this Sefer Torah is finally completed the war will stop.

So far, they only managed to raise 40% of the money required.

And more and more people in Israel are starting to crack up, especially the parents with children in the army.

====

Here’s the details to donate – but if you can’t do ‘big’ amounts, small amounts are also very welcome, and make all the difference!

And if you can’t donate in one shot – you can stage the donation over a few months, and still get something ‘big’ done here.

In my art class today, one of the women was looking super-stressed and not very happy.

She told me that she has so many friends with sons in the IDF, and they have literally spent months in dread, waiting for that dreaded ‘knock’ at the door.

We need to get this war over ASAP.

And you can do that in a very concrete way, by donating whatever you can to get the Sefer Torah written and completed.

====

It’s damim or dam.

Personally, I’m so sick of all the Jewish blood continually being spilt.

My daughter was at yet another funeral this week, for one of the soldiers who got blown up in the North.

He was the brother of the guy who encouraged me to start learning how to play the guitar, back in the middle of Covid.

BH, more and more people will start to get with the True Tzaddik HaDor, so this madness can finally stop.

Bezrat Hashem.

BH, I translated a bunch more stuff from the last Shivivei Or (358).

There is always so much to unpack with even the smallest of the Rav’s comments, and I’m still working on the stuff about Menashe ben Yisrael, aka ‘MBY’, so we’ll get to an indepth look at the gay representative of the Eida HaChareidit, Jacob de Haan, who went to visit King Abdullah of Jordan with R Sonnenfeld to try and set up the ‘chareidi state of Israel’ another time…

(Yes, that’s quite the sentence).

In the meantime, lot and lots of clues….

Enjoy!

Excerpt of a shiur given on Shabbat HaGadol, 5784.

(All the following come from Shivivei Or, 358)

Page 21:

Now, on Motzae Shabbat, they said [about the Iranian bombardment]: It’s going to arrive in another five minutes, another two minutes.

People were scared. They couldn’t move…

They told me that there was fear, mamash, like with the Nazis, when they knew they were going to arrive in just a little while.

And people couldn’t move, from all the great fear.

==

But really?

Now that there is Shuvu Banim, there is no need to be afraid. Today on every street, there is a yeshiva, there is a synagogue of Shuvu Banim.

There is no need to be afraid.

==

So, there is a machloket (disagreement) about Barak.

He was the husband of [the prophetess] Devorah, this is what is written in Chapter 9, verse 1[1], about whether he was her husband, or just stam, a leader. It’s a machloket between the commentators.

Here in the Tanna De’Vei Eliyahu, he says that he was her husband, and that he was an am ha’aretz (unlearned man). And in the merit that Devorah prepared thick wicks – because once upon a time, there wasn’t electricity.

If the candle went out [at night], it was impossible to study. Only the Baal Shem Tov could study by the light of the moon.

==

Now in the [earlier] shiur, we said that [at the time of the giving of the Torah], all the mountains came, and they wanted that the Torah would be given upon them.

Everest showed up, it’s 8,848 (metres) high. Mont Blanc showed up, this is the ‘white mountain’. ‘Mont’ is mountain, and ‘Blanc’ is white. It’s on the Swiss-French-Italian border.

The Pyrenees is on the border between France and Spain. The Apennines are in Italy. Armenia is Mount Ararat. There are the Atlas mountains – all the mountains came.

So, Hashem said to them you have ga’ava! (arrogance).

Even a mountain can have ga’ava, and this is what is written in Tehillim Chapter 68: “Why do you prance, O you mountains of gavnanim (majestic peaks)?”

‘Gavninim’ is gabenet (a hunch-back). They had a ‘hunch’ (i.e. A hint that their arrogance was a blemish.)

==

“The mountain of God, Har Bashan.” (Tehillim 68:16).

Har Bashan (‘a choice mountain’) is in the Golan. So, Hashem told all of the mountains to go back, and they all went back – but the Carmel and the Tavor didn’t want to go back.

So Hashem that upon the Tavor they would say [the Shirat Devorah] ‘Anochi’ twice, and that upon the Carmel, they would say [at the time of Eliyahu’s face off against the prophets of the Baal] ‘Hashem, He is the Elokim! Hashem, He is the Elokim!”

People don’t know this, but it’s [from] Likutei Halachot, the Halachot of Koshering Vessels, 4:8.

==

And ‘Shirat Devorah’ was said on Mount Tavor.

So Rav Natan said in ‘M’Achlei Akum’ [the laws pertaining to eating the food of the non-Jews’ in 2:9, that by way of song, comes the forgiveness of sins.

Every song is the ‘forgiveness of sins’. So, we sing before the prayers.

Singing is ‘teshuva m’ahava’ (repentance from love).

==

‘Acher’[2] heard a bat kol (voice from heaven): “Shuvu banim shovavim, chutz mey Acher” (Return wayward children, except for Acher.)

So he became despairing – but really, it was the opposite!

Hashem wanted him to make teshuva in any case, and that by way of this bizayon (that he recieved from the bat kol) all of his sins would be atoned for.

==

A person says where was Hashem in the Shoah?!

What does is have to do with you? Say your tehillim!

=========

[NEW SHIUR: Excerpt from the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach, 5784)

So we travelled to the Dead Sea, but we came back [alive].[3]

Not like Yossele Rosenblatt, who drowned in the Dead Sea. He was Shuvu Banim. He used to sin Be’tzet Yisrael mi Mitzrayim (‘When Israel left Egypt’) – he sung on a boat on the Jordan. There’s a picture of this, did you see it?

==

Yes, he made a movie out of it. They advertised it, how he travelled down on the Jordan on a boat, singing.

They made a whole show out of this – but they only gave him 2% [of the profits].

They took all the money to establish the kibbutzim.

This was in 5693 (1933)

I was there, on the 24th of Tammuz (July 18th) he drowned in the Dead Sea, he had a stroke.

==

So, Yossele Rosenblatt, he had a fit [after he was in the Dead Sea].

They took him to here in Jerusalem, on Jaffa Street. That was his house. And then he died. This was on the 23rd [of the month], and Arlosorov was on the 24th.

This [the murder of Arlosorov] was in Tel Aviv, next to the beach.

No-one was at his funeral. I arranged that at least there would be a minyan.

But many people came to Yossele Rosenblatt’s funeral.

One was on Shabbat, and one was on Sunday night.

==

So now we said mashiv ha’ruach u morid ha geshem – ‘He returns the winds and brings down the rain’[4].

Now we said it for the last time, until we will say in Mussaf the prayer for the dew, we’ll sing this together.

Why isn’t it possible to wait another week? I need around a week’s worth of rain[5]. Because now there is going to be a temperature of 50 degrees….

The Badatz ruled not to say mashiv ha’ruach until Simchat Torah, so maybe we’ll bring Simchat Torah forward. We need to do something.

=========

[NEW SHIUR]

Shiur on Shabbat, Chol HaMoed Pesach 5784, April 27th, 2024

Today is netzach she be chesed [in the counting of the Omer].

Next Shabbat, it’s netzach she be gevurah. And afterwards, in tiferet. All the shabbatot are ‘netzach’, until netzach she be netzach, which is on the 10th of Iyar.

Then was when Rabbi Shmuel Horowitz was freed.

Then on motzae shabbat, it was tiferet she be netzach. That’s when the telegram came that freed him. The Monday was netzach she be netzach, and he had already been sentenced to death.

Within the hour, they were meant to hang him. He was already wearing the red clothes of those who were sentenced to death.

And then suddenly, they freed him.

==

At the time he arrived [in Uman] he told the Russians that he had run away from Eretz Yisrael, from the English, because they were not safeguarding the Jews.

They publicised this in the whole world, that the Jews were escaping from the English to Russia, who were safeguarding them. So, the English got offended, and when he returned to Jaffa[6], they asked him why he’d said such things about them.

How could he say that they weren’t protecting [the Jews]?! Because this was after the pogroms of 1929.

Then, he said that he was escaping from the Aretz, because the English should be protecting the Jews, but they weren’t really protecting them.

==

So in 5689 (1929) on the 9th of Av (August 15th) – this was the day of fizzy drinks,[7] because all the kibbutzim came to Har HaBayit.

It was the speech of Rav Kook. Afterwards, the Arabs brought them sodas to drink, those cute Arabs, they distributed drinks, so they called this ‘yom hagazuz’ (the day of fizzy drinks).

Immediately afterwards, there were the riots of ‘29.

==

So, he said that he was running away from the pogroms.

So they asked him, where are you from? Where was the pogrom, just in Hevron?!

But really, there were also pogroms in Jerusalem, because all those who were at the Kotel at that time, they killed him. There riots all over the place.

==

Once upon a time there were pogroms like this, until Truman took the Mandate[8], because then, there were the White Papers.

Every day, they made another new decree against the Jews. Every single day, they added another page.

Then Balfour requested that there would be a state for the Jews. Today in every place, you find a street with his name. There on Balfour Street [in Jerusalem] they hold all the demonstrations.

==

So they made a decree that only 1,500 Jews could make aliyah to the Aretz.

Then, they gave all the ‘permissions to enter’ just to the kibbutzim, and within this, 75 people were given to the Mizrachi – only to those who wore sandals and short pants.

You, you have sandals? So, you can get the papers.

And to the Agudah, they just gave them five people.

==

There was one person, Moshe Gruman, he was the greatest tzaddik, the biggest tzaddik.

He was in Uman. Did you meet him? Or maybe, did you know his son? He was by Eliyahu Succoth once.

So, Moshe Gruman was in Uman, and he woke everyone up. He used to sing some song that now you are a child, look! Already you’re an avreich. Now, you are an old man, and tomorrow, you’ll be in the grave.[9]

==

Now, it’s possible to perform all the salvations, all the healings.

So on netzach she be netzach, everyone is freed – also, Shmuel Horowitz. They took the red clothes back.

Next Shabbat, it’s the hiloula of Yehoshua Bin Nun, and everyone is going to go. At 8.15, there will be coaches.

=========

[New shiur, but on the same day.]

There are Chassidei Balfour and there are Chassidei Kaplan…

Balfour is in Jerusalem and Kaplan is in Tel Aviv, there is where they do the demonstrations.

We need to know who Balfour was, we need to know the history about him.

He wanted to put an end to the riots, because there were pogroms all over the place, against the Jews. They were making pogroms! Until the decided to give the Jews a state.

This was in 1917, 5678, on November 7th.

All the nations said that the Jews need to be given a state, that it was enough with the pogroms, and with the violent bloodshed.

There were pogroms all the time, in Kishinev[10], in all parts of the world.

So after World War I, all the nations agreed, after they took the Mandate away from the Turkish.

==

Because at the beginning the Turkish were here, because ‘Ishmael’ did a brit milah.

The King said that whoever does a brit milah needs to be given the land, so it’s written in the Zohar that they recieved the rulership over the Aretz for 400 years.

Because Ishmael performed brit milah – even though they do circumcisions without periya. So the King said that whoever circumcises, they need to recieve a portion in the land.

==

Everything is because Avraham didn’t sacrifice Ishmael.

Hashem already told him: Take your son!

He was meant to have taken him, and to have immediately slaughtered him.

So all the nations of the world said that a Jewish State should be established, because there were decrees against the Jews al the time.

This is how it was.

==

All of those people who had debts of a million dollars, like me, so they would take a non-Jewish child, a sweetie-pie, and slaughter him. Then they would throw [the body] into the courtyard of some Jew, and all the non-Jews would immediately come to do a pogrom against the Jews.

This is how it was in every place.

==

Were you in America?

There, they didn’t agree [to do pogroms]. Truman said there is no such thing as this!

All the sheriffs said – a sheriff is like a ruler – so the Sheriff of Washington, of Miami, they said no, how can you?

To take a child, such a cutey, such a sweetie-pie, and slaughter him like that?!

He said whoever slaughters him will stand trial! There is no such thing as this, any more!

==

So, to sum things up, all the nations of the world agreed that there would be a Jewish state.

But, you also need the agreement of the Arabs. So Yaakov De Haan[11] went to the King of Jordan, Abdallah. He said that if R’ Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld would be the Prime Minister, all the Arabs would agree to this.

Everyone wanted to have a Jewish state here,but with chareidim. They didn’t want the zionists.

But R Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld didn’t want to be the Chief Rabbi. He said that the Rav Kook should be the Chief Rabbi, and this was a mistake.

So, we missed out.

All of this is written in the book ‘Ha Ish al HaHomot’ (The Man on the Walls).

==

[Go HERE to see some fascinating footage of R Sonnenfeld meeting the freemason Winston Churchill, together with Jacob de Haan and a few other people, from 1918.]

==

Because you also need to ask the Arabs.

So the English said we’ll also ask the Arabs.

They believed the Arabs more than they did the Jews.

So the Arab said that the Kotel was theirs [i.e. so the country also belonged to them, and not the Jews]. That Mohammed tied up his horse there, and from there he ascended to heaven, there’s a film about this….

I saw it. How Mohammed tied up his horse and ascended to heaven, and this was a horse with yichus, stemming back to the donkey of Avraham Avinu[12]

==

So they said that it’s theirs.

And also, all the other holy places.

So, [the Arabs] agreed to let them [the Jews] to sometimes pray a little bit, like an hour a day. Like in the ‘Great Hall’ of the Mearat HaMachpela, where once they used to let [the Jews] pray for an hour [a day].

Now, everything is closed. Everything was given to the Arabs, all the ‘Great Hall’.

Just a few times – six times a year, it’s opened to the Jews.

==

So, [the Arabs] said they would let them pray once a month, once a year, maybe, on Erev Rosh Hashanah they would let them pray a little, at the Kotel.

The English said everything needs to be given to the Arabs! They pray five times, and the go to Mecca on foot!

Once upon a time, they used to go by foot. Whoever went got given a round cord [i.e. The black cord Arabs used to tie around their kaffiya].

The Arabs have it on their heads, on the kaffiyah – their gartel. The Litvaks have it here (pointing to the throat – i.e. They wear ties). And only the Chassidim put it around their loins, because from there [up] is ruchnius.

So by the Chassidim, it’s there, by the Litvaks, it’s here,  and by the Arabs, it’s on top of their heads.

But only those people who used to go to Mecca on foot used to recieve the permission to come to the Aretz.

==

Everything could have been here just chareidi Jews with payot.

The zionists – nobody at all wanted them to come. Truman said to Ben Gurion that [if he established a State], that everyone would be destroyed within an hour.

Truman sat on the floor and wept, that within an hour, not a single Jew would remain here. Like what happened with all the kibbutzim now, on Simchat Torah, in Nahal Oz. They uprooted the yishuvim, Be’eri, Nahal Oz, all the kibbutzim.

Because everything was built with the money of the Yemenites and the Buhkharians.

==

There are communities that are thousands of years old, that the State stole from them.

Because they were jewellers, and they had large quantities of gold.

The Yemenites who came to the airplane to come to the Aretz, they told them that it was impossible to board the plane with the gold – that the plane would crash.

So, they stole everything from them.

==

And the Bukharians, they built everything.

Betzalel Street, Agrippas Street – the Bukharians, Moussaieff, the Yazdim – everything was built with their money. Everyone was really wealthy.

==

So, the English decided that the Jews could ascend to the Aretz, but they only recieved 1,500 certificates to ascend to the land.

And only the kibbutzim, whoever had short pants and a vest and sandals, and a beautiful chop (quiff). Only he would get permission. And also, a blue and red casquette. But without a casquette was even better.

(The Rav turns to someone in the audience: You don’t have a quiff, so you couldn’t have got permission to enter.)

==

So everything went to the kibbutzim.

And just within this [the 1,500], they gave 75 to the Mizrahi, and within that, 5 to the Agudah – but only to whoever had a beatiful quiff.

==

So there was one man, Moshe Gruman. He was the biggest Tzaddik there was.

[The Rav turns to speak to Rav Succot]: You knew Israel Gruman, his son. So Moshe Gruman, he was in Uman.

Rav Levi Yitzhak [Bender] used to tell stories about hi. He used to wake up everyone, he had a song: Now you are a boy, tomorrow you are an avreich. After that, you are old, and in another little while – you’re dead. And you’ll have a beautiful funeral. And the ‘outsiders’ will carry you [your bier].

==

Like what happened with the MAHARSHA[13].

The MAHARSHA didn’t use to go to funerals.

One time, there was some rich man who warned him, that if he didn’t come to his funeral, so he would get him thrown out of the city – because he was one of the rich men of the city. He could get him thrown out.

So, the MAHARSHA was a ‘good boy’, he didn’t argue, so he came to the funeral. And there was a white sheet covering the deceased, so the MAHARSHA lifted up the sheet – and saw that there was a block of wood [instead of a body]. Because they’d already stolen the deceased.

(Who stole him? Shuvu Banim are blamed for everything, about everything that happens, in the whole world.)

==

So, Moshe Gruman got to Uman at age 14, and was there until age 20 – six years.

Then there was a war and Russia and Poland were separated, and two different countries were made, so there was a border. And this made problems, because now it was already impossible to get to Uman on foot.

Two bochurim were killed, and also R’ Shmuel Horowitz crossed the border.

Then, Moshe Gruman couldn’t leave.

==

Whoever lived in Warsaw, or in Vienna, or in Lithuania could return [across the border, from Russia].

So Moshe Gruman wanted to come back, but they stopped him at the border. He sat in prison for nine months because they kept asking him why do you want to leave Russia?! What’s going on?!

Then an ‘aliyah camp’ came there, where you made aliyah from there to the Aretz.

There is where they give the authorisations to make aliya. They told him: you have no chance, you don’t have short pants and sandals. First, remove your payot and grow a nice quiff. Afterwards, in the Aretz, you can grow them back.

And anyway, you’re a Breslover, so you really have no chance. Breslov are totally meshugaim (crazy). Gomarnu.

==

So he said I don’t care! I am dafka going to go like this – and so he went.

They asked him, what are you? He answered I am Breslov.

So they said to him You are the ‘Breslov’ authorisation for Eretz Yisrael.

But afterwards, he went back to the United States, because he was here in yeshiva a few times, and they didn’t honor him enough. They didn’t let him become the Rosh Yeshiva in the Shul[14], they already had Rabbi Levi Yitzhak.

So, he got insulted, so he went back to the United States.

==

So, this is what all the nations of the world wanted, that there would be a Jewish State here, just with chareidim with payot, and with kippot. With a white kippa.

[2] The famous Tanna  Elisha ben Abuya, teacher of Rebbe Meir, who become a heretic after he ‘entered the Pardes’ of kabbalah with Rabbi Akiva.

[3] A couple of days after the Rav said this there was a horrible ‘accident’ at the Dead Sea involving a party with 2,000 people, including some yeshiva bochurs. Six of people from the party somehow got ‘swept away’ in the Dead Sea, and it’s believed two of them drowned.

[4] Said in Shemoneh Esrei.

[5] The week after the Rav said this, Israel experienced another strong, and unusual rain storm.

[7] The Rav could be making a pun here on the Hebrew word gazoz, which as well as referring to soda, also means to shear or cut.

[8] To govern Eretz Yisrael.

[9] The Rav finishes the story about Moshe Gruman in the shiur he gives on the Shvi’i shel Pesach, below.

[10] From Wikipedia:

“The Kishinev pogrom or Kishinev massacre was an anti-Jewish riot that took place in Kishinev (modern ChișinăuMoldova), then the capital of the Bessarabia Governorate in the Russian Empire, on 19–21 April 1903.

During the pogrom, which began on Easter Day, 49 Jews were killed, 92 were gravely injured, a number of Jewish women were raped, over 500 were lightly injured and 1,500 homes were damaged.

American Jews began large-scale organized financial help, and assisted in emigration.

The incident focused worldwide attention on the persecution of Jews within the Russian empire[5] and led Theodor Herzl to propose the Uganda Scheme as a temporary refuge for the Jews.”

Yaakov Yisrael De Haan was a very interesting figure.

He wrote a thinly-disguised novel describing his gay lifestyle which shocked even the libertines of Holland, where he was born and raised. Then he made aliya in 1919 as a ‘fanatical zionist’, and then, according to Wikipedia: “rapidly became more religiously committed. He was angered by Zionist refusals to cooperate with Arabs.”

His ‘religious commitment’ is up for debate, as: “In one of his poems he asks himself whether his visits to the Wailing Wall were motivated by a desire for God or for the Arab boys there.”

(Ah, the pedophile problem…. it’s sadly never very far away in this sordid tale.)

What is not in doubt is that the secular z-ists gunned him down in the street in 1924 because:  “He spoke about the tyranny of the official Zionist movement” and was acting as the spokesman vis a vis the Europeans for the Eida HaChareidit, who wanted orthodox Jewish representation in the discussions about creating a ‘Jewish State’. The assassination was apparently carried out on the orders of Yitzhak Ben Tzvi – close relative of the Kanievsky rabbinic family of Bnei Brak.

[12] When horses are crossed with donkeys, a mule is born – but mules are sterile, and can’t propagate their own offspring. I.e. The Rav is showing, a little,  how impossible the story about Mohammed’s horse is.

So much to unpick in the Rav’s words!

But let’s ask one question: what is the one thing that the following three people mentioned by the Rav have in common:

  • Yossele Rosenblatt
  • Chaim Arlosorov
  • Yaakov De Haan?

Answers on a postcard….

UPDATE:

While I was just doing a quick look to see if I could figure out who the Rav Dov Ber Epstein of Jerusalem / Eida Chareidit actually is, genealogically-speaking, I tripped over this 92 page document that contains tens of statements by people considered to be leading rabbis of their time, against the z-ists…

It’s very interesting reading.

Take a look HERE.

Here’s a couple that caught my eye:

Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg, rabbi in Warsaw, Poland
רבי חיים יעקב נפתלי זילבערבערג מווארשא זצ ” ל
We have already shown that there has never been such a misfortune as Zionism and there never will be again. (Introduction to Daas Harabbanim, 1902, p. 22)

Imagine how it will be if, G-d forbid, the idea of Zionism becomes a reality.

Then the sinners will be kings, the troublemakers will be high officials, and the young snakes will be leaders. Then your enemies will rule over you! (Introduction to Daas Harabbanim, 1902)

Rabbi David Friedman, rabbi of Karlin-Pinsk, Russia (1828-1915)
רבי דוד פריעדמאן זצ ” ל אב ” ד קארלין פינסק
I am waiting and hoping for the salvation of G-d, who will save us from these destroyers [the Zionists], and brighten our eyes and let us see the shame of our enemies. (Ohr Layesharim)

My opinion about this is known: that Zionism is worse than the rest [of the heretical groups], because it claims that a person can be a Jew without the Torah, and many fell away because of this.

Lots and lots to unpick… and what’s interesting is that many of the rabbis quoted are actually speaking against the ‘apparently religious’ zionism of the Mizrahi and the Chovevei Zion groups, not the hard-core secularists.

Your destroyers will come from within you.

And it’s still happening today, with all these corrupt and bent ‘Chief Rabbis’ and ‘Jewish writers’ and media people, that are just puppets to manipulate the Jews into doing things that are not in accordance with Torah and halacha, by giving it a thin veneer of ‘religious authorisation’.

I am waiting and hoping for the salvation of G-d, who will save us from these destroyers.

I’m going through my old posts from 2019 on, to put together some interesting sources on ‘Moshiach’.

In the middle of doing that, I tripped over what the autistics said about Rav Berland being Moshiach, back in May 2019, and I thought it would be interesting to post that up here now, five years on.

Enjoy!

This is a scheduled post, see y’all Thursday.

The Melech Moshiach

Message from Daniel, 15th Iyar 5779.

Abba, Abba, I was so very happy to read the messages from Binyamin and Menachem, but Abba – this is only the beginning of the war.

It’s written that not everyone will receive / accept Moshiach, even if he’s the true Moshiach who meets all the pre-conditions that are written in the seforim about Moshiach, including how he looks, and his actions.

He is bandaged all the time, and he takes off bandages and puts on bandages.

Now, Rabbi Berland fits the description exactly, but even more than that, Abba, like I said, there will be a war between Jews and Jews about whether he’s Moshiach, or chas v’shalom, not.

==

I know that he is Moshiach.

I know clearly that he is Moshiach. But there will be a war. The war against him didn’t begin today. The radio and the television hasn’t stopped publicizing filth and negative stories about Rabbi Berland, and all of this is lies, lies.

He is a pure person, the most pure person in this generation. The most pure.

He is a person who travels around shemayim (Heaven), and there are testimonies from many people who experienced a clinical death and returned to relate their experiences of being in the Beit Din¸ the Heavenly court above.

One Jew stood as their defender, and this was Rabbi Berland.

==

There are many stories, there are books full of stories about the miracles that he has performed, very clearly described, with the telephone number of each person who experienced it.

Don’t forget that Moshe Rabbenu is the archetype of an enormous Tzaddik, not only in his spiritual greatness but also regarding his love for Hashem, and his faithfulness to Hashem, and his love for Am Yisrael.

And Rabbi Eliezer ben Etia comes from the soul root of Moshe Rabbenu.

Rav Eliezer ben Etia is similar to Moshe Rabbenu in everything. And they even said lashon hara about Moshe Rabbenu! The worst and most disgusting lashon hara imaginable! So much so, that he needed to take his tent and move it outside the camp, so that they wouldn’t suspect him of looking at married women.[2] This is the nature of man, to speak lashon hara because he’s jealous.

Most Jews are tzaddikim, and don’t do this, but there are people who are jealous, and they have no problem speaking about the Tzaddik, and to call him a villain, chas v’shalom.

==

Before the Children of Israel left Egypt, 80% were not prepared to leave, and wanted to stay in the culture of Egypt, and with the Egyptian way of life, that wasn’t the Tzaddikim’s way of life.

They didn’t agree to go with the Tzaddik that Hashem had sent, and they didn’t agree to leave the places that they loved so very much, even though Hashem had sent him, and it was clear that he was the redeemer.

They didn’t want to leave, so Hashem took their lives away.

Am Yisrael, this world is now going through great changes. I’m not going to say exactly what, we’ve spoken about this a great deal in the past. However, we need to be prepared, and it pays to be prepared.

==

We need to cling to the Tzaddik.

The whole time that we’re with the Tzaddik – the Tzaddik – we have no problem. We need to go along his path, the path of Hashem.

Rabbi Berland is so attached to Hashem, and so attached to Torah, and he is an immense talmid chacham – the wisest talmid chacham in Eretz Yisrael.

And if he’s the wisest talmid chachim in Eretz Yisrael, then he’s certainly the wisest in the world.

Many people saw him in shemayim, in the Beit Din above, and afterwards returned to life to tell about it.

==

Everyone already knows, and it’s forbidden to listen to the terrible stories that they spread about him.

Not to listen to the stories that the chilonim (secular people) tell about him, which are certainly and very clearly warped and fake.

And also, not to listen to the stories that the so-called ‘chareidim’ are spreading, because they have their own reasons why they can’t stand such an incredibly pure person.

All those people that believe that they are truly connected to the Rav, and who call themselves part of ‘Shuvu Banim’, they need to be ne’eman, (faithful / believing). There are amongst them some people who don’t believe so much, and in the end, they are likely to go against. Regarding these people, I just weep.

==

Am Yisrael, Rav Eliezer ben Etia loves every Jew, and it doesn’t matter which group he belongs to, or what his background is.

The main thing is that this Jew tries to come close to Hashem, the All-powerful.

Rabbi Berland loves anyone who makes teshuva – loves him truly! And he even loves his enemies, and he even sends them presents.

==

He’s a Jew of a very high spiritual caliber.

Not only is his spiritual level so great, he’s also so close to Hashem, and so great in his avodat Hashem (service of Hashem), and has tremendous love for Am Yisrael. He works to try to help every single Jew, and it’s impossible to find even the smallest detail in him where he would chas v’shalom, go against Torah law.

Am Yisrael, you will see, if you will be open to this. Be open to what you will see and feel.

You will see that at the end, he is really Moshiach ben David.

He has come because now, in the near future, we will begin to see manifesting everything that Chazal wrote about these times, in a much clearer way, both before and after the complete geula (redemption). I am so very happy, Abba, so very happy.

Everything was foreseen, that the wicked would once again rule over the Jews and the chareidim.

But Hashem has sent us a ‘star’ – not Nibiru and not a comet, but Rabbi Berland, who will help all of Am Yisrael to leave Egypt.

That he is now present shows us very clearly that we are very, very close to the complete redemption.

Whoever wants to get to the geula shleimah has to come ‘under the wings’ of Rabbi Berland, and to continue to deepen and increase their prayers, their good deeds, their love for Hashem, and their love for Am Yisrael.

==

Ad kan, with the message about the Rav from the autistic man Daniel.

Now, this is the message about the Rav that was put out by Binyamin Golden (on May 17th, 2019 – almost exactly five years ago…..)

==

FULL TEXT FROM DANI18 on the identity of Moshiach ben David:

“Your servant the Son of David will come, and he will redeem us” – [First message from] Binyamin Golden, 24th Nissan, 5779

There is nothing to worry about. The Son of David will continue, he will live, and ultimately, he will bring us to the Beit HaMikdash.

But it’s not going to be easy.

The Son of David was sure that he would be able to fight against the Sitra Achra more easily. But the Son of David is not going to give up and say “that’s it!” He can’t, because he loves Am Yisrael so very much. He’s not going to abandon us so easily.

There are moments of despair, but ultimately, HaKadosh Baruch Hu chose him to bring the complete redemption in its entirety.

==

The situation is very difficult.

The situation is more than ‘very difficult’. The Sitra Achra, may his name be erased, is running wild and he’s sure that he’s running the show, G-d forbid. But even if only 10 believing Jews remain, to fight against the lies, Hashem will destroy all the evildoers with them. He will rebuild the world to come with the few who will remain faithful.

He is going to demolish, wipe out and erase those who prefer the lies over the truth.

==

The believers don’t need to worry, but those who prefer lies, all of them will disappear.

Hashem created the world for Am Yisrael, and in order to take Am Yisrael and to raise them up to a spiritual level that I can’t even describe. I can only say this, that whoever reaches this level will achieve an eternal life that is so very good, and I don’t even have any words to describe it.

Don’t despair, just stay with the Tzaddik.

Hashem loves the Tzaddik, and the Tzaddik loves Am Yisrael no less than Moshe Rabbeinu did.

The Tzaddik is not going to give up, and he’s not going to abandon us. He cries over every single Jewish man, and over every single Jewish woman, and these tears have a very great influence in shamayim.

The Tzaddik is not going to leave us.

“Shuvu Banim” is eternal.

==

Even though amongst us, there are still some who don’t really believe. We will have to go through another birur, another clarification process: who really does believe, and who really doesn’t.

Now, the world is about to enter a period that will be even darker, and even more frightening than before.

The believers will always see the light – whoever really believes in HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and whoever will ‘hang on’ to the Tzaddik very tightly, so-to-speak, because they know that this is what will bring them to true eternal life.

Only a few will remain, they will be the chosen few, the perfect ones that Hashem will build the future upon.

The believers need to know that only a few will remain, but those who remain, the chosen ones, will be those who go with the Tzaddik.

==

The future will be so very good, that it will be worth all the suffering that we will have to go through to get to it. There are no words to even describe it.

I want to bless all the true Jews who believe in HaKadosh Baruch Hu, and in His faithful representative, the Son of Dovid, that they shouldn’t fall into despair.

Because the future of the world depends on the love that you have for Hashem. Love for Hashem, and absolute and total faith in the Creator of the world, the almighty, and in His representative, Eliezer ben Etia, Moshiach ben David.

He will not abandon Am Yisrael under any circumstances. Am Yisrael is so very beloved by him, as it was by Moshe Rabbenu, who stood by them, by Am Yisrael, and who acted as their defender before the kisei hakavod, even though they sinned greatly against HaKadosh Baruch Hu.

==

Eliezer ben Etia loves Am Yisrael.

He weeps over every single Jew that strays from the true path, and he is completely faithful to the Almighty. He is more beloved than anyone else in shamayim, more than any other soul. He came to this world around 81 years ago, and despite all the difficulties he’s had in trying to bring Am Yisrael to the truth, he didn’t abandon them – just as the Almighty won’t abandon us, either.

He is our defender, Eliezer ben Etia, even though he is a little weak from some despair, he will bring us to eternity, bezrat Hashem.

==

[This is a third message, from the autistic young man Menachem]

==

Finally, finally, the King Moshiach has come – Menachem, Parshat Kedoshim Tehiu “Be Holy”, 5779

Baruch Hashem, Hashem has finally, finally sent us the redeemer.

Yes, the Redeemer with a capital R. And so we, the brain-damaged ones, the autistics, or whatever you want to call us, don’t need to continue writing any longer.

For the last 26 years, we’ve been writing essays all the time, in order to strengthen Am Yisrael, and to demonstrate where the sheker, all the lies are to be found, and where the truth is to be found. But now, there is no more need for our talents.

We are now obligated to leave this work, because the King Moshiach has come.

And he will provide the answers to all the questions everybody has, and he will direct Am Yisrael towards the complete redemption.

==

We are going into retirement.

But we will also be praying, and begging HaKadosh Baruch Hu that even us, the autistics, can be with all of Am Yisrael, once the geula shleimah, the complete redemption, arrives. And that we can also, with the greatest joy, accompany the King Moshiach to the Beit HaMikdash, and sacrifice offerings there, etc.

Am Yisrael, don’t worry!

Moshiach will guide you on the right path, and he is the shaliach, the messenger who will save every single Jew.

But, every Jew has to do teshuva, and all those who are really Erev Rav, or something like that, they won’t make it to the complete redemption.

But Eliezer ben Etia, he will bring us from this world, to the spiritual world, and to the Third Temple.

The end.

==

Ad kan from the autistics about the Rav being Moshiach ben David, almost exactly five years ago…

Think for yourself.

A couple of weeks ago, I was pondering on how ‘quiet’ the Rav has been about Meron and also about Uman.

Usually, the Rav is prepping us for long months in advance, about the importance of being by Rashbi for L’ag B’omer, and the importance of being by Rabbenu in Uman for Rosh Hashana.

Even when the war started in Ukraine, even when there was Covid, even when the State was trying so hard to stop all the gatherings by our holiest Tzaddikim – he was encouraging people for many months in advance to start thinking about getting to Uman for Rosh Hashana, or getting to Meron.

This year….. nothing.

====

Yesterday, the failed State announced that they are effectively ‘cancelling’ L’ag B’omer this year.

They are designating Meron a closed military zone for five days before L’ag B’omer, and five days afterwards.

They are blaming this on ‘the war’, but just watch and see if they are cancelling any of the big gatherings for Yom Ha’atzmaut next week, and then you’ll understand how much the real ‘war’ in our failed State is only and ever against the Torah and Judaism and religious Jews.

====

In the meantime, I also have a strong feeling that Uman is going to be off the cards too this year.

According to the messages being given out by Rav Elmaliach, the ‘back door’ from the Rav at the moment, there is a big war meant to kick off Elul 25th, 5784 this year – September 28th, 2024 – that will last until Simchat Torah.

When I first heard that message, before Purim, I started wondering about what was going to be with Uman.

Now that I’ve seen this ‘closure’ at Meron, and now that I’m understanding the Rav hasn’t said a word about going to Uman for Rosh Hashana this year, I’m starting to take Rav Elmaliach’s messages much more seriously.

====

The Rav, and Shuvu – and a lot of other people who go to Rabbenu for Rosh Hashana – are not scared by ‘small stuff’ like regular wars, Covid restrictions, or closed borders.

If Uman is off the table this year for Rosh Hashana, that means that it is literally impossible to get there.

And if it’s literally impossible to get there – then clearly, something quite dramatic must be happening to prevent people from travelling to Uman.

====

Tov, I’m going offline now again for a few days.

Update on the Rav is that he has water on the lungs, and requires private hospitalisation for a few days that is going to cost around $20k.

If you can help defray some of this cost, go HERE to give some money – scroll down and use the payment options via stripe at the bottom of the post, don’t pay via the website, and it’s still not recovered from being ‘taken out’ literally three days before Simchat Torah, 5784….

I’ll let you know when the Rav is back at davening on Ido HaNavi for Ma’ariv.

If you haven’t already, you should really make an effort to come and pray with the Rav, at least once, before Tisha B’av.

It’ll stand you in good stead, spiritually, to weather whatever other storms are headed our way.

And may we just hear good news.

Shavua Tov!

***UPDATE: Scroll down to download the full English / Hebrew Kuntres as a PDF***

You probably noticed that I’ve been in kind of a bad mood the last couple of weeks.

On the one hand, that’s totally understandable. The stress of ‘whatever that was’ when the ‘Iranians’ bombed the country combined with the stress of Pesach, combined with the ongoing stress of ‘the war’, combined with a bunch of other more regular stresses – no wonder I’ve been losing it the last few weeks.

And I’m not alone.

==

One of my friends is a VERY nice person.

Really.

She whispered to me down the phone on Friday that she’s also having a lot of anger flaring up at the moment, particularly in her home setting.

And she sent me this shiur by Rav Ofer Erez, which talks about how Enoch merited to become the Angel Matat by overcoming the test of anger:

====

There’s hope for us, Rivka!

I was in such a bad mood on Friday, I didn’t really believe her.

Everyone and everything was annoying me.

And then, I got a text an hour before Shabbat with the story (that turned out to be another media fabrication…) that the Rav had been stabbed – and all of a sudden, I got a massive headache and started to feel even more grumpy.

I decided to try and do a long hitbodedut on Shabbat, to try and figure out what is going on here.

====

After a couple of hours of pondering why I’m feeling so angry, and understanding that the underlying stress here in Israel is actually very difficult to deal with, day in and day out, even if I’m trying to ‘filter out’ the news manipulations as much as possible, I decided to re-read the Rav’s Tefilla L’ani.

It’s subtitled: Prayers and lessons to get rid of ANGER.

I refer to it a lot on the blog, because it literally works like magic, to defuse my angry feelings, and move me into a much better and calmer space again.

(Download the English translation of it HERE.)

====

As I was reading through it, the following section caught my eye:

When a person gets angry, he is in a state of lacking self-control, and evil forces control him.

But when a person prays and pleads to overcome anger, then he will merit to see the face of our righteous Moshiach, about whom it’s written:

“He will be imbued with a spirit of fear of Hashem, the breath of our nostrils, Hashem’s annointed.”

==

And he gives strength to the kingdom of Moshiach to reveal itself in the world, and all of this comes by way of his nullifying his anger with mercy.

====

That then leads into a beautiful prayer, which says this:

Please Hashem, give us the merit to not ever get angry, and by doing this we will merit: “the breath of our nostrils, Hashem’s annointed.”

Because it’s only by having the patience to never get angry, and that no thought of anger should ever cross our heart or mind, that the soul of Moshiach can be brought forth to the world.

And if we never, ever have anger, we will merit the spirit of Moshiach.

And when a person gets angry, he brings upon himself the spirit of hell, “that anyone who gets angry, all sorts of hell (demons) control him.”

====

Xtians believe that ‘the Savior’ shows up and does all the work, while they just sit there with their bad middot, anger, arrogance, selfishness, all the rest of is, and still ‘get saved’.

This is not a Jewish idea.

One of the things that has been annoying me so much the last few weeks is reading all this stuff online from apparently ‘Jewish sources’ that relate to the geula as though it’s some sort of spectator sport.

Yeah, you just sit in your armchair, wherever you happen to be in the world, and make pointless predictions based on stuff you see on Youtube about ‘moshiach’ and ‘the geula’…. And don’t worry about working on yourself, or fixing your bad middot. Moshiach’s gonna take care of everything, all by himself….

This is a xtian idea.

It’s not a Jewish idea.

====

Many of us, most of us, are having massive tests with bad middot at the moment, and especially, massive tests with patience and anger, because overcoming these tests in our own private lives is what is actually going to bring the ‘soul of Moshiach’ out into the world.

Geula is not a ‘spectator sport’, it’s not a theatrical production put on for the audience watching via Youtube.

It’s a spiritual process of refinement where every single one of us has a job to do, to ‘clean out’ our own souls, so we can actually make it into the world-to-come, the world of truth, the amazing spiritual reality that Moshiach is going to usher into the world.

And that boils down to us having a real relationship with God, and asking Him, begging Him, to remove our bad middot, and especially our anger and lack of patience.

====

That is the real fight here, the real battle, the real war.

The IDF going into Rafah is a sideshow.

(And while we’re on the subject, the Rav said very clearly in one of his recent shiurim that he is totally against the idea of ‘going into Rafah‘. I will try and translate more stuff from the Rav over the next few days, BH.)

==

‘Aza’ = Gaza.

Aza is one of the fallen angels, and the more powerful of the two, who was chained up in the place of the Dark Mountains, where the sun doesn’t shine.

He and Azazel teach ‘black magic’ to all the reshaim who come and visit them.

There is a reason we are so bogged-down in ‘Gaza’ – and that’s because it’s our bad middot that are keeping us there.

Again, here is what the Rav wrote in the prayer above:

[W]hen a person gets angry, he brings upon himself the spirit of hell, “that anyone who gets angry, all sorts of hell (demons) control him.

That is exactly the situation in our failed State right now – and probably, also in your part of the world, too.

====

We are being ‘controlled’ and manipulated by demons, and especially the demonic forces online that excel in making us feel angry, despairing about Moshiach every showing up, and complacent, that all we need to do is sit back and wait for Moshiach to ‘clean up the world.’

Really?

We have a job to do.

The more we make an effort to overcome our own anger and impatience, the more we pray on this, and ask God to help us overcome it – the faster the soul of Moshiach is going to be revealed in the world.

====

As my mum reminded me, there is free choice.

The people who choose to work on their own bad middot, and to really try to connect to God, and to not just relate to geula like a ‘spectator sport’, will most likely make it through what’s coming down the pipe in one piece, wherever they happen to live.

It’s not me saying this, it’s the Rav.

He wrote:

[W]hen a person prays and pleads to overcome anger, then he will merit to see the face of our righteous Moshiach.

====

So, if you actually want to see the face of our righteous Moshiach, instead of just pointlessly speculating online, I suggest you download a copy of the Rav’s prayers to overcome anger, and spend a little time going through it.

(HERE.)

Moshiach’s job is to teach the rest of us how to fix our souls, and our bad middot, how to pray properly, and how to have a real relationship with God.

But he’s not going to do that job for us.

We aren’t xtians.

And geula is not just a ‘spectator sport’ for armchair commentators.

====

PS: The Rav put out a message on Friday afternoon via R Elmaliach about the importance of keeping emuna alive in our hearts, even though all the stress of the situation here is making it hard to have emuna intellectually.

Because then, we have to ‘raise up’ that emuna in our hearts back to our minds, where it’s way more powerful.

The Rav also emphasises again how important it is to keep Shabbat, work on shmirat habrit– and to come and pray with the Rav down on Ido HaNavi.

I will BH translate that later, and stick it up.

Here’s the video in the meantime:

====

UPDATE: I just got sent the full English / Hebrew Kuntres of the Rav’s Tefilla L’ani to overcome anger.

Download that as a PDF HERE.

This is the one I personally use, and it works like magic to ‘disappear’ the anger – even the totally overwhelming, volcanic type of anger.

What I do personally is read the lessons in English, then pray the prayers in Hebrew.

And then you’ll see, the anger will totally defuse in the half an hour it takes you to do that, dissolved at its spiritual root.

(And you did you bit to get the soul of Moshiach revealed in the world, and for the enemies of the Jewish people to fall all by themselves. Bargain.)
