I am keeping my comments very reduced at the moment, for a few different reasons.

1. Matti Peled – a former Israeli general with control over Gaza who became a ‘peacenik’.

Don’t get triggered by his standard ‘left-wing there is no God in the picture’ lack of understanding about the deeper connection between Jews and Eretz Yisrael.

Rashi summed it up in his first comment to Bereishit, by saying EY basically was someone else’s property right at the beginning – but then God, Who created the world, gave it to the Jewish people.

But Matti Peled didn’t believe in God, and so, he was stuck with a tremendous problem.

Listen, really listen, to what he is saying about corruption in Israel at every level – back in 1992!

And which country has been pulling the strings here since 1974.

Is basically describing how 40 years ago, Gaza was basically secular and mostly peaceful.

And then, it got radicalised by Sheikh Yassin – the ‘Hamas’ guy-puppet, who with a lot of help from America and other people closer to home totally radicalised the area and turned it into a nest of terrorist vipers.

She brings a lot of interesting info together, to show how all these pieces of the puzzle have been  moved around for decades, to create the current awful situation we find ourselves in.

Yesterday, I got into a big discussion with one of my kids.

Most of her circle are formerly ‘dati-leumi’ atheists, or people who grew up being brainwashed ‘against’ God and ‘religion’, God forbid.

Thank God, she still believes in Hashem (and for that, we mostly have to thank Rabbenu….)

But in the meantime, she got very upset with any suggestion that the two shomer shabbat kibbutzim in the South were saved from all the atrocities and terrorists on Simchat Torah.

Who are you to judge these things?!?!?

She was yelling at me.

Even though we both know personally the guy who was saved from the Nova party just because he decided that week to keep Shabbat.

Maybe, God just wants us to have achdut, and to not have ‘sinat chinam’ talking badly about the dead on the kibbutzim?!?!?

At that point, I have to admit I lost my cool.

All this was going on yesterday morning, when there was a very thick atmosphere of ‘din’ hanging over Jerusalem. I hadn’t slept properly for nearly three weeks. I’d had a headache for 2 days solid. I was worrying about a ‘ground invasion’ into Gaza that could see thousands of our soldiers blown to pieces – and for nothing, tachlis.

And here, my daughter was telling me that what was going to save us all was just achdut – and not returning to God.

I.e. – totally missing the point of what is really going to get this to turn around the sweet way, with no more deaths of innocent people, God forbid.

I was in the middle of saying tehillim when we were having that argument.

Here’s a bit of tehillim 50:

“But to the wicked, God said ”what’s the point of telling you about My laws?…Because you hate censure (mussar), and you threw My words behind you….

I will rebuke you and lay it clearly before your eyes!

Now understand this, those who forgot about God, lest I tear you asunder and there will be no-one to come and rescue you.

The person who offers Me a confession [of his sins] honors Me.

And the one who puts himself back in order – I will show him the Salvation of God.”

God forbid, my daughter’s friends aren’t ‘wicked’.

They are just stupid, stubborn, misguided, brainwashed and caught in a massive ‘media’ klipa.

And I also realised that my daughter is doing her best to be a good mellitz  for them – a good spiritual advocate, trying to ‘avert the decrees’ anyway she can.

Once we both understood what was happening yesterday, after a lot of yelling and crying, we made peace and had more respect for the other person.

Tachlis, she doesn’t want any more dead Jews – and neither do I.

But also tachlis – the way to avoid more dead Jews is for us to put God very clearly back in the picture.

And sadly, that’s still a message that a lot of people are allergic to hearing.

What can we do?

Say more tehillim!

Rebbe Nachman says explicitly that reciting tehillim prepares people to ‘make teshuva’ – to return to God.

And not just the actually person saying them – all of Am, all of the Jewish people, all the people of the world.

Each day, I am dedicating my book of tehillim to a different cause.

Yesterday, I ‘dedicated’ to breaking the klipa of false beliefs, that are keeping so many people trapped far away from God, and getting a real solution to their problems.

Today, after another argument with my husband, I’m dedicating it to breaking the klipa of ‘lies’ that is preventing so many of us from seeing what is clearly in front of our faces.

And I’m in a good mood – because I KNOW that all these prayers of all of us, all the teshuva, all the mesirut nefesh of women cutting up their immodest clothes (and posting pictures of them doing that on Instagram….) is ALREADY turning the tide of Am Yisrael.

Regardless of what the lying news and our corrupt puppets tell us.

Yesterday, someone told me a story she heard, about a balanit in Kiryat Sefer whose mikva got used by a survivor from Kibbutz Be’eri.

The woman told the balanit that four months earlier, her and her husband decided to start keeping the laws of family purity.

They are the only people in their whole row of houses on the kibbutz who are still alive.

Achdut for sure has it’s place.

But going forward, making real teshuva and staying close to God is what is actually going to make the difference here.

OK, last thoughts for today.

I was pondering the Rav’s comments on ‘friendly fire’ – which he has made a lot of times, recently – and I went to see if there was anything that would shed more light on them.

I got to THIS.

Truth is the first casualty in war, so of course everything has to be very carefully considered and verified, especially when the anti-semites are all over it like a rash.

But in light of the Rav’s comments, I found it very interesting, to consider some other possibilities of how so many of these houses in the kibbutzim literally got blown to pieces.

And the last question I have is:

What happened to the 14 merkava tanks and 17 armored personnel carriers that ‘Hamas’ is meant to have stolen from the IDF on October 7th?

How would ‘Hamas’ know how to operate these tanks and armored personnel carriers?

It’s not like hotwiring a car, and just driving it away….

And what role did these stolen tanks have to play, in destroying so many Jews on October 7th?

Valued at $5 million (RM22 million) each, Israel possesses up to 600 Merkava 4 variant armored tanks equipped with a 120mm cannon, a heavy 12.7mm machine gun, and a 7.62mm machine gun.

It also has the capability to launch guided missiles like the LAHAT…

With a 1,500 horsepower engine, the Merkava 4 can move at speeds of up to 65 km/h on roads….There are also videos showing abandoned Merkava tanks on the side of the highway, presumably after suffering damage.

In addition to “losing” Merkava 4 armored tanks to Palestinian fighters, the Israeli military is also reported to have lost 10 “Achzarit” armored personnel carriers, five M113 armored personnel carriers, and two “Namer” armored personnel carriers.

And what is preventing ‘Hamas’ from using Israel’s own ‘lost tanks’ and armored personnel carriers against our own troops, if they go into Gaza?

I thought I would just post up some more stuff from Rebbe Nachman on the ‘Jewish devils’ that are leading us, on all sides of the secular / fake-religious divide.

Remember, the main job of these people is to disconnect us from God, our own souls and ‘felt experience’ of life – and the True Tzaddikim.

Sadly, they are still doing it fantastically.

The following all comes from ‘Advice’ (Likutey Etzot):

There are leaders who go by the name of ‘rabbi’ but whose learning comes from the ‘superficialities’ and ‘waste’ of Torah. They are unable to control themselves, let alone other people.

But they still have pretensions to greatness, and seek to lead and guide the whole world. You should be very careful to not accord them any recognition whatsoever, so as not to add in any way to their power or authority.

They themselves can be forgiven for what they do; they are the victims of a strong lust for power. It’s the people who give them credibility and power, and who are prepared to accord them the title of ‘rabbi’ who will have a heavy price to pay.

The foundation of true spiritual leadership is love. No one can be a true leader unless he genuinely loves the Jewish people. But he must understand how to show this love.

It’s forbidden to show love to rashaim (evildoers) – to murderers and robbers.

He must know how to guide and direct each individual along the path which will lead to his ultimate good. The essence of the love he must show the Jewish people is to lead them away from their sins. There is no greater love than this.

There are people who don’t have a good word for anybody. They’re always looking for the bad in other people.

The source of their life-force is rooted in the dark side, which is called ‘the end of all flesh’ (Genesis 6:13).

Such people are constantly trying to make an end of things. They are highly destructive. Their accusations and slander arouse harsh judgments in the world. The main evil here is that the faculty of speech is being abused.

The way to crush and humble these people is by developing your faculty of speech to perfection.

I remember so very many years ago  now, when R Chaim Dovid Stern of Bnei Brak put out a message saying that:

Rav Berland is the last test before Moshiach.

And that anyone who believed the media’s slanders about the Rav wouldn’t be around when geula  actually came.

At the time, this seemed like a pretty ‘harsh’ message.

But now?

After Covid….Meron….Aza….two state ‘solutions’ and camps….

It’s just an obvious consequence of an inability to understand that the media is the brainwashing tool of the people who are trying to kill us all, uproot our Torah, and the Jews, from Eretz Yisrael – and keep us away from following the advice of the True Tzaddikim, that could turn all this around in the blink of an eye.

If you believe they lied about Covid, Meron, Ukraine, Aza – but told the truth about what really happened with Rav Berland….

Then you are failing the ‘last test before Moshiach’ really, really badly.

And as we are coming down to the wire now, there isn’t going to be much time left to rectify that, and it’s natural consequence.

At this stage, I’m running out of energy and motivation to keep arguing with people.

Ultimately, the people who keep on believing the media’s lies are walking themselves into destruction.

There is no point wasting more time tilting at windmills, when that’s better spent reciting tehillim, learning Gemara and making some real, personal teshuva.

Rav Natan once wrote (translated in His Wisdom, p 308):

Ridicule these words and you only ridicule yourself.

We speak the truth and it is yours to accept. But if you wish to turn your back on it and remain stuck in the deep quicksand (Tehillim 69:3) of this world, there is no-one to prevent you.

“Let each man go his own way, but we will call out in God’s name.”

These were the Rebbe’s words to a man who spoke to him at length.

The Rebbe knew that this man was drowning in the endless waters (Yevamot 121a) and wanted to rescue him.

But the man hardened his heart and turned a stubborn shoulder (Zechariah 7:11), not accepting the Rebbe’s advice.

He knew the Rebbe spoke the truth, but refused to take his words to heart.

The Rebbe said:

“He is like a drowning man who is about to die.

A rescuer comes along and extends a hand to lift him from the water.

But the drowning man turns a stubborn shoulder and turns his back in arrogance, not wanting to grasp the helping hand. 

He flees from the one who comes to save him.”

It’s not too late to grasp the helping hand, still.

But soon, we will be moving into the openly ‘supernatural’ portion of this journey.

And if you think the confusion and fear is too much to deal with now, it’s only going to intensify when the ‘UFOs’ show up with lazer beams, and holographic yoshki (and / or the Lubavitcher Rebbe….) makes a guest appearance.

Around seven years ago, I went through a big ‘birur’ process around the topic of dealing with narcissists.

I wrote a lot about my experiences on one of my old blogs, and this morning, seeing all the ‘cognitive dissonance’ occurring in Israel and other parts of the Jewish community – where we know ‘the State’ is not our friend, but we can’t quite manage to break out of the brainwashing yet – I thought I’d rehash some of it here.

But updated to reflect the fact that we are all currently dealing with a Narcissist Motherland that has been brainwashing us from the cradle, about how great, and fantastic and holy and good it is.

So, let’s begin with this:

The Narcissist MotherLand’s 10 Commandments:

1. I am your motherland. My opinion is the only one that counts in the media, in schools, and in your social media interactions.
2. Thou shalt not worship anyone other than me – and especially not Hashem.
3. Nothing is more important than keeping up appearances, so please keep spending more taxpayer’s money on yet more flags and big posters and ‘media campaign’s bigging up the army while the soldiers in the field don’t even have basic supplies or flak jackets.
4. Thou shalt remember my (fake…) secular holidays and keep them holy.
5. Respect your fatherland and motherland (if you don’t want to end up in the chokie….)
6. Thou shalt kill anyone who makes me look bad – anyway you can.
7. Thou shalt slander anyone who disagrees with me, or dares to challenge ‘the mainstream view’ of my actions.
8. Thou shalt lie to cover up all my bad actors and evil behaviour.
9. Thou shalt take the blame for any problems I’m causing, especially if you are a sincerely religious Jew.
10. Thou shalt put all of your time, resources and energy at my disposal, and expect nothing in return.

I have come to the conclusion that this big, massive klippah we are currently struggling to fight can basically captured with the broad term ‘narcissism’.

The more we uproot ‘narcissism’ from our inner world, our private lives, our own interactions, and spot how it really ‘operates’ in the world, the easier it gets to spot the ‘bad actors’ in the wider world.

The people who are still under the spell of ‘narcissism’ in their own private lives will find it v.v.v. hard, bordering on impossible, to figure out what is really going on here, with our narcissist motherland – and other bad actors who are serving the forces of evil.

So that end, here is another snippet of something I wrote seven years ago, called ‘Leaving the Cult’.

A few notes, before you read on.

I’ve kept the wording to refer to ‘parents’ here, but really, it can and should be applied to anyone, anything, in a position of authority in our lives – including elected officials, ‘influencers’, rabbis, doctors, and anyone else that we elevate into a position of telling us what to do.

And of course, also our ‘motherland’ itself.

NPD stands for Narcissistic Personality Disorder – but I’ve moved on from believing in unfixable personality disorders at this stage.

Everything is just a function of bad middot, and everything, everything, can be fixed with enough prayer, sincere remorse, putting God firmly in the picture, and connecting back to the advice of our real Tzaddikim, like Rebbe Nachman and Rav Berland.

So, bear in mind that this was written a while back, and my grasp of what is going on with all this has now changed.

But at the same time, this is still a good basic description of why so many otherwise sane, clever people literally cannot see the truth of what is staring them in the face, at the moment.

When the parents in a family have NPD, the family unit tends to function like a sort of ‘mini-cult’.

Remember that the main (but by no means only…) ‘issue’ for people with NPD is maintaining an external appearance of complete perfection.

That means they can’t acknowledge any mistakes, bad behavior, bad character traits or anything else that will mar the appearance of perfection to the outside world.

Of course, narcissists are probably some of the most poisonous, toxic people to be around, particularly for their kids [and citizens of their country the happen to rule], as they’re full of anger, spite, vengeance, soul-destroying put downs, hatred and other types of emotionally abusive behavior.

For as long as you’re towing the narcissist’s line and not challenging them, the true extent of their mental illness isn’t obvious.

It’s only when you start to challenge the picture of perfection that they’re painting for you (and everyone else) that the narcissist’s mask really comes off, and you get to see the scary monster lurking underneath.

Because narcissists can never admit to anyone, especially themselves, that their poisonous behavior and attitudes to others are the cause of so many of the difficulties occurring in their relationships, they fall back on two things to shore up their appearance of perfection:

1. They lie brazenly about what’s really going on and why.
2. They find a convenient scapegoat to pin all the problems on.

It’s hard to appreciate just how big the lies get when you start challenging the narcissist’s false picture of perfection, if you haven’t experienced it yourself.

Because you can’t get a narcissist to admit any ‘truth’, however obvious, that doesn’t accord with their self-image of being perfect, sooner or later you have to make a choice with enormous ramifications for your relationship with the narcissist:

• Choice 1: Acknowledge the objective truth and continue to be true to yourself and your experience of the narcissist as a flawed, and frequently very difficult, hurtful and even dangerous player in your life.

OR

• Choice 2: Disconnect from your own feelings, thoughts, experiences and ability to protect yourself and from standing up for yourself by entering the narcissist’s fantasy world where everything they do is perfect and you are the cause of all the problems and issues in the relationship.

Good emotional health requires you to go with Choice 1.

Going with Choice 2 is a sure-fire recipe for depression and a slew of other serious mental illnesses including schizophrenia and personality disorders.

So why do people continue to go with Choice 2, even when it causes them to disconnect from their souls and their own true selves?

To put it very simply, when you are being raised by narcissists [and ‘educated’ by them, in a million different ways] – the effective ‘cult leaders’ – you can’t go against them.

If you try, you will be mercilessly tormented and punished until you fall back into line, and go back to believing that the narcissist [motherland] is only ever completely perfect, and you are the one causing all the problems.

So Choice 2 is the ‘default’ option that nearly every child of a narcissist parent [or motherland] has to struggle very hard to escape from.

Children of narcissists undergo a sort of self-induced ‘brain-washing’ process where they literally jettison their own subjective sense of self, and disconnect from what they really feel and what they really know in order to ‘fit’ into the fantasy world created by the narcissist [motherland].

It’s almost impossible for a child to go against their narcissist [motherland], as the [motherland] is the one defining reality for that child.

Which is how you end up with a whole family of individuals who are effectively part of a brainwashed cult that the narcissist has built up around them, with a central belief that ‘the narcissist [motherland] is perfect, and can do no wrong.’

That’s the bad news.

Here’s the good news: as soon as you come back to your real self, your true self, the holy, beautiful, brave soul that Hashem created you to be, full of light – all this darkness will vanish by itself.

The forces of evil only have ‘power’ over us, because we give them that power.

We listen to their brainwashing via the media, we continue to let them gaslight us with explanations that make totally no sense and are absurd, we push down any uncomfortable feelings warning us that ‘something is wrong here’.

As soon as we give ourselves permission to really feel our own experiences, and to validate them, and to experience our own thoughts without being ‘told what to think’ all the time – their power over us totally disappears.

In a nutshell: Do hitbodedut for an hour a day.

But if you can’t manage an hour, start with five minutes every single day, and work from there.

And also – TURN OFF THE NEWS.

Turn off all those ‘influencers’ and ‘discussions’ and ‘media campaigns’ that are keeping you brainwashed, in the cult – and cut off from your own true self.

If you do this, then congratulations!

You already began your personal redemption process.

And when enough of us walk down that path, the ‘general redemption’ will follow very quickly afterwards.

Because we will finally see through all the lies being told, and they will no longer be able to control us, and keep our souls bound up in their lies.

Amen.
